Anyone know if Target, Wal-Mart etc are considered Department or Clothing stores for the sake of the upcoming 5% promotion? Thanks |

Thanks They would be considered to be discount stores. In fact, Discover NEVER pays more than .25% back at Wal-Mart per their terms and conditions.. I never, ever use my discover card at these stores for that reason. |

Got a note in the snail mail. I will see if I can find it. Did not realize it is a targeted offer. I did spend several thousand last month with all the traveling. |

Does anyone know if LL Bean is considered either a "Department Store" or "Clothing Store"? I need to buy a blanket from them and want to use my Discover if it will earn 5%. |

I got a letter in the mail telling me that if I spent $300 on the card in the month of April I would get an extra $10 cash reward (in addition to the 1% or 5% that I would otherwise get). |

I got a letter in the mail telling me that if I set up for automatic payment a household bill in certain categories, I would get an extra $5 cash reward (in addition to the 1% that I would otherwise get). The letter is further saying to contact my billers directly. I am wandering what if I just pay a bill online from the biller's web interface will Discover recognize it correctly? That would make my life much easier if someone did this before. Thanks. |
