FreeJason said:Any dealer/shop is fine. Just needs to include the date, vehicle information, your name, etc. on a receipt. You then mail that to them for reimbursement. So to redeem the rebates toward the purchase or lease of any new or used vehicle or automotive service, have to always mail them the receipt and other information? And cannot fax in the info to reduce mailing cost? And when I looked at TY reward, seems to me the only thing that worth it is $100 giftcard that cost 10,000 point but the number of stores they offer are less than the $30 giftcard? Is TY reward getting better or worse for non-ebayer in term of the reward it offer? |

No, they don't take faxes. I think because it would be pretty easy to make up things. They want something in their hands. Old school, I know. |

If you have confirmed working fax numbers I'm happy to list them, I can only share the information I have received from speaking with them. |

A fax number I have been using for submitting mileage updates, as apparently they can't understand the mailed in identical forms, is 702 797 5084 |

Do they understand that? Do they give you any kind of confirmation that it was received? I'm mailing it in today. |

Haven't tried the vehicle enrollment via the fax number. I called the back number on the back of my card after the third unsuccessful attempt at submitting miles and they told me the fax number after I asked if there was one. I have not received any sort of confirmation, even though the CSR said to notate the form with a "Call me at <number> upon receipt for conformation". I did that, and nothing. However, the Drive Rewards are showing up. |

So the only way you can submit miles is to have service done on your car? Are you supposed to send in a form each time your car is serviced, or only when you are going to want to redeem rebates? They are very fuzzy on the details of this. |

You can send in the form any time you want. You can either update miles or update and redeem. There are forms for each choice. Yes, you need to have your car serviced to send in the miles, however you should be getting regular oil changes anyway, right? |

I get my tires balanced and rotated for free at sams club, they give you a printout with mileage, each time. You can also goto some national tire centers and get a tire check/flat check for free. They will probably give you something similiar. |

My wife has DE option card since 2005. We used it for 12 months when they offered 6%/1% rebate for one year, got both purchase rebate and driving rebate shown on the statement when I took my car for the service last summer. We have been put away this card for almost a year now since other cards offer better rebate than 3%/1%. Recently she received the a letter that citi offers 2% rebate for all the purchase other than everyday purchase from now to Jan, 2008. The offer is probably YMMV. Since I drive 10k every year, this offer makes first $5000 purchase on this card a decent 4% rebate card for everything. |

My Driver's Edge will be expired for the 6% rebate of the 1st 12 months soon. Is it possible to ask Citi to renew one more year of the 6% rebate for me? If not, I may apply for another Driver's Edge with 6% rebate of another 12 months. Can you suggest some websites that offer rebates when customers apply credit cards there (e.g., cardoffers.com...)? Thanks in advance! |

The rebate becomes 6%/2% when redeemed with drive rebates. In your case, since you drive 10K miles, you need to spend 1) $3334 on gas & groceries, or 2) $10000 on anything else (or a combination of 1 and 2), and redeem a $200 rebate ($200.04/$3334=6%, $200/$10000=2%). There are no other cards with better rebates. |

FreeJason said: These numbers refer to the 6% for the first 12 months, 3% thereafter. (6% gas/grocery/drug store) $1675 in purchases = $100 reward cash 10,000 miles drove = $100 reward cash
If you're purchasing anywhere else (1%) you'll get: $15,000 in purchases = $150 reward cash 15,000 miles drove = $150 reward cash Question [using this example]: If I drive 15,000 miles, do I get both of these rewards (the $100 bonus for the 6% and the $150 bonus for the 1%). Or must I drive 10,000 miles for the 6% and then another 15,000 miles for the 1%? |

I guess this is as good of spot as any to ask this question. I've been thinking about applying for the Driver's Edge card, but I do most of my own vehicle maintaince and repairs. Since I bought new tires about two years ago, my car hasn't been in a shop or service center. Has anybody turned in a miles submission form for the drive rebates with themselves listed as the service provider, perhaps accompanied by an auto parts store generated receipt for oil and a filter? |

You can't. Checkout the terms, must be a service center. Also, you'll see earlier I answered this for someone else, goto get tires rotated or get tires checked for repairs and some places do that for free and will give you a milage printout. |

I am considering getting the Driver's Edge card and have a couple of questions. Hopefully someone out there will know the answers. Thanks! 1) I understand the maximum annual reward is $1000. And if I want to redeem driving rewards, I have to redeem an equal number of purchase rewards. I don't drive that much, so my rewards for miles driven would only be about $50. Can I accrue the remaining $950 based on purchases? 2) I already have a Thankyou account. Will Citibank deposit my Driver's Edge points into my existing Thankyou account, or do they force you to open a new account? Hopefully all the points can go into the same account. |
