When it says you need to open an account with direct deposit, does that mean you HAVE to set your paycheck up to DD into that account, or is it just part of the description on the account?

Can you open up this account if you don't have a job that offers DD?

There are no branches where i live. it says in the title "phone" any details on how to do this by phone?

Thanks

Max

1. This was posted before - on this thread: Link (Check the 2nd-to-last post.)
2. The coupon codes are individually generated, i.e., they are one-time-use codes. Each person needs to go to the page and get their own coupon code.
3. If you want the same deal, but the flexibility to wait until March 11, 2007, then check out THIS link: Link

P.S. It was also previously posted on BankBonus.com: http://bankbonuses.info/chase-bank-75-checking-bonus/

thanks op

Last years 100 chase account bonus thread

funny that the link at the top of this thread is still active with a 100 dollar bonus and use by april, 2007 (but still not producing a code number)...

I dont think that you can do these offers by phone....they want you to come in to discuss other products....

IF you go to "Chase Free Checking account with Direct Deposit" link on the top of the page, it will bring on the next page, where next to apply there is a phone number (1-877-68CHASE (1-877-682-4273)) first then "apply at a branch" link.

Thanks to all who replied, learning smth new everyday!

Does anyone know if one can open multiple checking accounts with Chase and still get the bonus? We've had a checking account with them for a year. We are moving over to BOA and have another paycheck to dd.

you are eligible for 1 offer per calender year based on the last thread...

Thanks Maddy. I couldn't find anything. I really appreciate it.

sorry for the elementary question- but can you have two checking accounts open under the same name?

Yes, you can. I have 3 checkings with chase and 6 checkings with BofA.

I have Chase and a BofA accounts. My DD goes to Chase, but since chase has very few ATMs where i live, I am compelled to keep transfering funds from chase to BofA. For instance the other day I suddenly needed $500 in cash and had to withdraw from non-Chase ATM using my Chase card(actually a BofA ATM next door) which charged me additional fees.

is it a hard pull or soft pull?

Does anyone know if there are still $100 cash bonus coupons out there? Other than targeted offers, I mean. It seems like the $75 ones in the USPS mail forwarding packages are the best bet right now. FYI, these are good until May 31, 2007. I'm just wondering if anyone knows of a similar place to get the $100 ones, or whether that "gravy train" has ended.

I want to open a chase checking account with Direct Deposit. But just to comfirm, by "ACH push" ..does it mean i can iniate money transfer from Citibank, HSBC..ect, and this will count as direct deposit? I want to use paypal, but trying not to do business with paypal here. Thanks

Just about any ACH push will work - both ING and Paypal work, I know personally. GMAC also has a fabulous, quick ACH system, but some people don't like the $500 minimum balance necessary to avoid the monthly fee. There's a thread on this, which covers just about everything: Link

no hard pulls for us (but had chase credit cards)....

Today I went with the both coupons and applied.

Looks like they are going to give me $100. Even though they were not able to find $100 coupon, they even searched in their stuff, they promised to pay the difference from PSL or something. The manager later told me that they have "Colden checking score" to reach, so they need new checking accounts.

I just got a mailer that offers $100 for opening a checking account with direct deposit.
