Why not sign up at CardOffers instead where you get $40 for just being approved?

sure you could. but quite frankly, discover CashBack is much more valuable to me b/c of their 25% extra bonus when you redeem with one of their partners (i.e. Staples, Gap).
Btw, didnt' mention in the original post but the card does offer 1 year 0% BT. (probably a standard offer with any of their cards)

Please see CardOffers thread where many members are reporting problems with Discover reporting to CardOffers for Cash Rewards.

Well, that answers the cardoffers.com answer if true. The bt fee is 0 at cardoffers.com if made with the app.
But, why not both? Since my wife already applied for and was approved last week for Discover in a few weeks she'll contact customer service and mention the code above.

Found another code for $60 CashBack after $250 in purchases - FCTB
More terms on the 0% BT: 3% BT Fee, minimum $5, maximum $29 - not as good as those CITI no BT fee promos but still pretty dang sweet.
