I used in my most recent AOR; may be useful for others as well.
Northwest WorldPerks Visa Signature Card by US Bank - 15,000 WorldPerks miles after first purchase - 2500 bonus miles when you add a joint cardholder - $90 annual fee, waived the first year with this offer - apply by March 2, 2007 - call 800 360 2900 x6487
Northwest WorldPerks Visa Platinum Card by US Bank - 10,000 WorldPerks miles after first purchase - 2500 bonus miles when you add a joint cardholder - $55 annual fee, waived the first year with this offer - apply by March 2, 2007 - call 800 360 2900 x6487
Northwest WorldPerks Visa Business Card by US Bank - 15,000 WorldPerks miles after first purchase - $75 annual fee, waived the first year with this offer - apply by March 2, 2007 - call 800 796 4650 x1677
Notes - I applied for both the Signature and the Platinum on the same call, with the same CSR. I don't think these are targeted offers. There is no way I can see to apply online. Northwest codeshares with Alaska, Delta, Continental, among others, so you ought to be able to use your miles somehow.
I got this offer in the mail as well and was considering it fo r the mielage as well. Something that you forgot to mention is that it gives the benefits of discounted mileage redemptions in US 48 & Canada.
For Signature, you get 2 mileage redemptions at 19k miles instead of the 25k usually required. For Platinum, you get 1 mileage redemption at 19k miles.
That is 19K miles for a single flight on NWA for flights to US 48 and Canada.
I was sitting on 22K miles with NWA for over a year, trying to use miles for a flight (Toronto-Calgary) but couldnt find any mileage redemption sales and since I was residing in Canada, couldnt accrue any free miles quickly. Now I have US residency, the free miles are going to be great for my next trip to Alberta. The lower redemption rates, which I havent seen on NWA forever put this offer over the top IMHO.

I wasn't sure FWF wanted that level of redemption detail, but here are the corrected details in my offer:
Signature: 2 tickets at only 19,000 miles Platinum: 2 tickets at only 21,000 miles Business: 2 tickets at only 21,000 miles

There is similar offer online here, but not as good, no 2.5K bonus miles for joint holder, and the annual fee is not waived. Just FYI

Two questions. 1. Which credit agency did these cards each pull? and... 2. I am looking to get free tickets to Hawaii in November. Does it seem realisitic to apply for these three cards each and be able to get tix there for free? Any suggestions on the 2nd would be greatly appreciated!!

Note that flights to Hawaii cost 35000 miles, so you need 2500 miles beyond the Visa Sig + joint cardholder + Business card for one ticket.

Thanks Xeon852. We are going from BDL to HNL from about 11/1/2007 to 11/16/2007. I just signed up for WorldPerks and it says 70,000 miles each for the tickets. Does that sound right? I was thinking of applying on Monday after Discover reports to my credit a reduction of balance. Are you saying that it will be tough to get my rewards credited in time? I was thinking of doing all 3 cards by the way.

you'll have a shot but it's no guarantee. the problem is you'll only have enough for standard awards, and standard awards to Hawaii sell out fast. If you have date flexibility you have more chance. November is still 9 months away, so again, you have a chance. Our miles posted within a day of being approved for the cards, so it should happen quickly.

70,000 miles each means the 35,000 mile awards are sold out. You can try changing your dates around and seeing if you can dig some up, but HI award flights go quickly. As long as there are seats on the plane, you should be able to get a 70,000 mile award, but it isn't likely a good use of miles.
Bump for near expiry...I may call and apply for the biz card. I received the signature miles and still no platinum ones. With a CSR now trying to figure out why.
CSR said that since they both went through at once, I only get one set of miles, the most(15k) and they will not give me the 10k for the platinum, but can't quote me any rules where it says that. This should be fun.
Edit: Supervisor says something seems wrong, he'll look into it and try to get the miles. Hey, maybe we're getting somewhere.
