YMMV - Chase extending 0% APR offers

I did a balance transfer of $75K from my Sony Visa card to my citibank checking account through use of a checkcard. However, without telling me Chase sent Citibank checks in the mail instead of processing it electronically. As such, the balance transfer didn't show up on the other end for a couple weeks. I sent Chase a message through the online system and after several days received a reply. They had no problem at all extending my 0% APR another month. Of course, this was after I pestered them about waiving the $75 BT fee, which they eventually did.

So its YMMV for sure, but considering how easy it was (1st try) it might work for other reasons too. No harm in trying. One month at $75K is nothing to scoff at.

Hope this helps someone other than me...

Always said there's no harm in asking, unless it's about an insurance claim.
