I just signed up for one. Revolving credit, 2 miles per $ spent the first year, no membership fees, etc, etc...
I've just read some not so great reviews on Cap One on FW. I pay my cc off monthly so I'm not concerned with apr, etc, but had heard good things about Cap One and the No hassle rewards for flights. I currently have a Citi AA card, but have a $85 annual fee with it. Am I better off sticking with Citi? Do you think Citi would waive the fee if I told them I wanted to close since getting a Cap one card?

It can't hurt to try and see if they will remove the fee. Sometimes they will just tell you to stick it.

I'm trawling these forums because I'm trying to find a better CC reward program.
I too have Citi's AA card -- and have run up thousands and thousands of dollars (accruing thousands and thousands of air miles) but -- here's the catch -- I CAN NEVER USE THEM. Every time I try to book a flight with them (sometimes nearly a YEAR in advance) there are never any flights available. Or there will be one leg of my RT flight covered but the other leg will require cash payment, etc. When I complain and ask "what's the point?" The reps always tell me that I just need to contact them sooner, be more diligent, etc. But this seems like TOTAL BS to me. The only way I was able to use my massive amount of accrued miles with them, recently, was to fly FIRST CLASS. Not the way I'd wanted to use my miles up.
Now I want out. I'd imagine the Cap One card situation/'offer/ is going to be even more impossible to use.
