EDIT: Make that the American Medical Association Card If I can, yes. Have accumulated over 400K+ miles from actual flying (10+ years) and UA MP Visa usage the past 5+ years. I'll give Chase CS a call and see what my options are. Sorry for the interruption in OP's thread. Edit - Spoke to Chase CS. The CS agent wasn't too helpful or engaging other than telling me that my "Gold Class" UA MP Visa is a very "special" card and only second to the "Platinum Class" which has a $140/year annual fee. She did try to sell me the Business version of the card but I declined for now. In the end, she stated that I could downgrade to no-annual fee UA MP Visa but it only earns 1 mile per every $2 and this card reports the actual credit limits to the bureau. I told her I'd think about it. |

Anyone knows if there is still any web site offering credit card sign up bonus checks when you click through it to apply for cards? Cardoffers.com is no longer doing that. Saw someone mentioning one site the other day but can't find it anymore. |

Well, heck, it's about time I get rolling for AOR #2 I suppose...except for the fact that wifey and I decided we may buy a new (bigger) house later this year, so I may need to keep the credit reports cleared up for the most part. Bought a new truck on Friday and had no problems with the loan for that, so it's in good shape right now. Another AOR would tank my scores for a while though, so decisions, decisions.... |

I'd stay off AOR for now - risk of adverse action may be getting too high, as recent experiences show. Best not to give issuers reasons to lower CL or close accounts... I'd also recommend holding off. Full FICO repair <1 year after an AOR is not a guarantee, even if you pay off the loans early. |

Thanks for your input. I'll probably hold off on another full-scale AOR, and instead shoot for maybe 1-3 cards to try and hold onto some of the cash I have out. Probably business cards so the money is hidden. |
