Tip: if you care about this card (after reading the Adverse Action thread), I suggest applying AT LEAST one full day BEFORE the rest of the AOR. And include a BT of no more than $11,000 with the app.

One day? I'd say at least 2 weeks since they do the follow up inquiry at least a week after issuing. BTW that 15 month link seems to work, but if you try to click through none of the links on that page work. I believe the 15 month deal is over.

In my case the followup inquiry was 1 month, so my "AT LEAST one day" suggestion wasn't to avoid having the account closed, it was to have 0 inquiries showing with the application. Still, I agree that 1-4 weeks is smart. The "all on one day" part of an AOR is NOT mandatory.

The lists in OP were updated on 5/29/07. The script that generates the lists still can not use user-submitted info. Please read this thread to find some good credit cards not included in the list.

Thanks for the update markber.... wow, I think this really shows the trend away from $0 BT fees and/or caps. My planned AOR for August may be in serious jeopardy.
Oh, and ditto on the FNBO 15 mo card links being dead, I believe that offer's likely gone the way of the dinosaurs as well.

Why Capitalone Small business Cards are not listed?
..because the database I use to generate the list does not have Capital One credit cards. I do plan to extend the database in the future. But this will unlikely happen before the end of this summer considering how little time I have to spend on this project.
0% | 6 | $0 | 0% | National City Bank | National City Visa National City App
Looks like the National City Visa Business card has the same BT terms (0% for 6 months), but I can't find an official T&C page to confirm the $0 BT fee. Anybody have any experience with this biz card?
EDIT: According to a CSR, no fees for balance transfers within the first 60 days. This mimics the terms of the personal card.

Thanks for the link but when you click on apply it gives you an error - I think the 15 month deal on this card just expired.

wow. this list is great. thank you to everyone that had to do with it
i was wondering if i could have some advice from you experts. i'm actually getting a separation and my husband handled all of my finances in the past-- so i am new to this. here is my situation:
i have around $8500 on a credit card that's on some high APR. so, i'm looking to do a bt of about $8500. at the same time, i will need to open a credit card that i can use for my day to day needs.
i read that you can save your credit score a bit of a hit by applying for certain cards at the same time/on the same day. is this true?
when looking through the bt list that markber put together, i was interested in the Citi® Dividend Platinum Select® MasterCard®: http://www.citicards.com/cards/wv/cardDetail.do?screenID=923
it also seems to be good for my day to day use, but i know not to use any card i used as a BT. anyway, i guess i'm wondering what are the best two cards i can sign up for that will be easy on my credit score (b/c of credit checks). i'm hoping one will be 12mo or more + BT + no BT fee + no annual fee + 0%apr and the other card will have a decent Cash Back offer/structure...
thank you very much, i would really like to apply for the cards today to take care of the BT ASAP. any immediate help is much appreciated! i tried to figure this out on my own, but i guess this simply isn't my thing.
if it helps any with advice, my credit score is definitely good at the moment.

welp, i got impatient and went with the Citi® drivers edge for my day to day and Citi® Home Rebate Platinum Select® MasterCard® for my BT. unfortunately, i was only given $7500 on the Home Rebate Platinum Select card.
if i call and ask for a higher limit, will this have any effect on the terms for the 0% BT and 0 BT fee for first BT?
thank you!

I don't see how it could have any effect at all. I think you should just go for a straight increase and not attempt to reallocate the limit off your Drivers' Edge card, because they are getting annoying with reallocations and you might be able to get the limit reallocated and not be able to reallocate it back. I believe that if you do a BT off the Drivers' Edge card within a year after getting the card, you get 0% BTs for a year from the date of the first BT, so that's a good thing to have in reserve for when the rate on the card you're now using for BT's expires.

I have a Driver's Edge that I use for BT's (got a sweet 1.99% for life with no fee somehow about 2 years ago).. The rewards for day-to-day usage are not all that great. Anyway, I would recommend saving the Citi cards for BT's because new offers come about every month, - although I have only seen one decent one in the last few months (4.99% for life with $75 fee, which just expired). I try to stay away from the 12 month deals.
As for upping your limit, at least with the Driver's Edge, it has no impact on the BT. You probably won't be able to get your limit raised though if you just opened the card.

I am looking at citi's website and nowhere does it state a $0 BT fee. What avenue did you go through to apply?

Can the OP make this more accurate by adding a "date" field to the list? A lot of those offers look good, but you can't tell whether something was entered 3 days ago, or 3 years ago.... Just a suggestion....

alright OP. It's time to update the list. It seems like Citi has increased the BT fee to $250. So does BofA. I like those 2 CC issuers since they have very relaxed CLI and BT rules. Anyway, any other FWers can recommend good CC for BT with high CL ?

what "exactly" do you need to apply for a business credit card? On some of the applications I see that it doesn't even ask for the TIN??

I can not guarantee that Citibank will honor terms and conditions on its own website though. Print the page with terms and conditions, save its screen-shot, & make its bookmark before you apply in case you will have to make Citibank to issue you a card with right terms and fee schedule.

Great suggestion. Right now, I can only list credit cards from a third-party database. When I do an update, I do it for all cards at the same time. If/when I am able to take user input, I will add a column with "posting date".

FYI, Keybank has some 0% 12 month BT offers with a 3% fee up to $75 max at www.keybank.com. It says that these apps are processed by Citi though, so I'm not sure how this will affect Citi's AoR limit on new cards.
0%, 12 months, no BT fees (if requested with application). Offer expires September 30th. Thanks lhendricks! I'll have my mom call in today for this (she's did an AoR monday with 25 issuers); she'll likely get denied from inquiries, but she has a long history and it is worth a shot.
Anyone else know of some offers like this that haven't been listed. Please post!

<tagged> Thanks Lhendricks, I'll be keeping that number for my hopeful AOR in early August. My own search for enticing US Bank offers garnered nothing.
I know Markber doesn't do CapOne, but do they even have a 0% personal offer that anyone knows of?

This is a great thread. Thanks OP for all of your work in keeping it updated. Just wish there were links for all of the CC's listed.

So I was searching the net for 0% offers yesterday and came upon a load of US Bank 0% for 6 month with capped fees offers for college affinity cards.....Then I found one for Baylor U. from US bank that had 12 mo 0% terms capped as well. I book marked it and just went to reply to this post 15 hours later to let you know that there were internet offers available also. Well now this morning the link is dead. So I did another search for this card on Google. It now shows a 6 month BT offer. Moral of this post...Keep searching because this can't be the only one that had the better terms.

BT fee is not capped for above US bank offers, so not good for BT.

(it says this right next to where it says "other fees" (I missed it at first also)

The Citi Diamond Preferred card now is uncapped at 3% for BT.

Note: this is not a referral link for me, it is the link that you get if you Google "Harvard Alumni Association World MasterCard."
No text about having to be a Harvard alumnus.
Quick note on the foreign transaction fee: it states that you'll still be charged 1% by mastercard.

FYI, here are some more good 0% BT offers I have found:
Fifth Third Bank business (0%, 12 months, $75 max fee) : here
PNC: Call in about BOTH thier business and their personal card. Ask about a better BT offer. They gave me a 12 month, 0%, $75 max offer over the phone for BOTH business and personal. (Be aware they pull all three credit reports).
National City Business: (6 month, 0%, $0 BT fee) here
National City Personal: (6 month, 0%, $0 BT fee)here
EmigrantDirect Personal (is through Juniper/Barclays): (6 month, 0%, $50 bt fee)here
Fifth Third Bank personal (0%, 6 months, $75 max fee, not a great BT card): here
* Some of these like Fifth Third may be out of your geographical region, but worth a shot to try

I think the best 0% deal is from advanta - their advanta business with rewards card. 0% for 15 months - 3% of BT, max of only $50. If you have a large amount to transfer, I think a 15 month deal beats a 12 month deal anytime despite the fees.
But I noticed a couple of citi cards have removed their maximum fees from the BT fees and BOA cards now also do not cap the BT fees. Read the terms and conditions of the BT fees before you actually do a BT.
