These arseholes closed my account the day before my statement closed. I would have had just more than enough points to cash in my final $50 countrywide mortgage reward. I'm mad. I think Chase is trying to get rid of me. I'm holding about $15k on a card at 2.99% for life. |

So...anyone know how we are supposed to access this account? Cardmemberservices just shows my account has disappeared. I received the letter saying it was going to convert to a Freedom card. I try to add to chase.com and it reports it cannot find the account. Is it stuck in some mystery credit card purgatory somewhere? Maybe they got pissed that I stopped charging my normal 2K a month when I found out they were converting. |

Same thing happened to me. I just called the CSR, and I was given my balance over the phone. They told me that I would be issued a new credit card on April 15th. The CSR offered to connect me to the technical support department to re-add my account to the website. I declined. I'll wait until I get the new card on the 15th and then I'll try to re-add it. |

What a disaster. All the transactions are unavailable and have "disappeared". Will they reappear again or are they gone forever? I sent an email to support but received no response. I need to do my taxes this weekend and I need access to my account to download transactions. These clowns picked a perfect time to erase the transaction history. |

Wow, Chase can't download any more than 45 days of activity to Excel. Amazing. Anyone know of a way around this? This doesn't seem right at all. I will be forced to MANUALLY enter hundreds of transactions for 2008 taxes off my statements. EDIT: OK, just confirmed that Chase does NOT allow you to download any more than 45 days of activity to Quicken, Excel, etc. So I now have to manually enter nearly 1,000 transactions into my accounting software. Un-freaking-believable. Oddly enough, I did a google search and couldn't find any complaints about this. Am I the only one that relies on this download capability? Chase is the ONLY card issuer I am aware of that does not allow a user to download more than 45 days of activity. Does anyone know of a way to convert my PDF statements into comma-separated text I can enter into excel? Man, I'm pissed.... this is a going to take me 4-5 hours, minimum to get this done right. |

Like a number of other people I couldn't access my account through cardmemberservices.com anymore. I talked to a CSR who had to transfer me to tech support to set up my account at chase.com. And now I can see my account info. |

I had to call in to add my account to my existing chase.com account. In doing so, the CSR also said my 0% APR expired .. which shouldn't be the case. You may want to call and check. |

If you already have an online chase credit card account, you can add the countrywide card online yourself, Display/Hide accounts > Add my other accounts, then enter your SSN and countrywide account #, then wait for an activation code via SMS, phone or email. The new card shows up as a Chase Freedom card. |

They sent me a letter by mail. Chase is not honoring the 0% APR promotion with the original agreement. Blargh. |

I hate to dig up an old thread, but... Good news on my front (for a change). I previously had both the Chase Freedom and Countrywide card -- both at 4,100 -- an odd state considering how few cards I had. When Countrywide was discontinued, I was issued a second chase at 4,100. CSR at activation time was happy to combine the cards into a single $7,900 card at the good rate I apparently had on the original Chase Freedom. A rare win. |
