Ok, there is a big long Chase Freedom Visa credit card thread already, but this particular offer is for a Mastercard, and it's a good offer, so I thought I'd throw it out there.

Chase Freedom World Mastercard
0% APR on purchases til 7/1/08
0% APR on BTs til 7/1/08
0 BT fee
earn 1% Cash Back on all purchases
earn 3% Cash Back on every $1 for gas, grocery, and 'quick service restaurants' like Subway, Denny's, and Einstein Bagels

offer good til 4/19/07
apply at www.sendmethecard.com or call 888 684 7370

offer code 5HZ

comment - I have no idea if this is targeted. Obviously you need to have a decent credit score. The combo of 0% on purchases and BTs WITH $0 BT fee WITH rewards earning capacity is pretty cool.

The sendmethecard.com offers are all targeted. You need to verify all of that information and have it match up with their records in order to proceed.

I got basically the same offer, 0% until 8/1/08, no fees, except no CashBack rewards - it's just a Platinum Mastercard.

Just got this in the mail as well today...I think I'm pushing my luck with Chase (5 new cards between me and spouse in the last mini-AOR with 30K BT'ed) but this is tempting

Is the targeted offer for a World MasterCard or just Platinum? I cannot find any non targeted application via Google for a World MasterCard. It appears Chase is just pushing a Chase Freedom Visa Platinum and I have seen a Chase Freedom Visa Singature. When they first launched this product it was clearly offered in both MasterCard and Visa versions.

you want a world mastercard? citi has a bunch of them.
the aadvantage world, but that costs money
premierpass elite is world also. i guess that costs money too.
but, if you're willing to pay, premierpass can give you 2 points per $1 spent, which is very good (you have to fly lots though)

I was just talking to the CSR and they said that anybody with a Platinum Mastercard with at least $5k can convert to the world card. There is a $75 annual fee though, which they justified by saying "there is no pre-set spending limit". whoopdee doo.

So its a conversion product and maybe a retention product and not an outright application product? -- the Chase Freedome World MasterCard that is.

Just signed up for it, seems like a great card. My military mastercard through USAA was the best I could get before with 11.99% APR and all the platinum benefits. This card is 0% until 09/08, and 8.99% fixed after that. All platinum benefits, 3% Cash Back, no fees, no limit.

Over the next year that will save me $1,560+ on a $13,000 balance I am paying off (moving expenses 2 years ago). After that on a $10,000 balance I will save approximately $300 in 2009.

Havent read any fine print to scare me yet...

When I replied to my targeted Chase Freedom Mastercard app, it came as a World Mastercard, not platinum.

Just got an offer in the mail today for the Chase Freedom World Mastercard. It offers 20,000 bonus points after first purchase & 3 points per $1 spent in the top 3 categories each month. Sounds nice!

AberFitchNYC,

Wish I got the 20,000 bonus points then I might sign up. I currently have a rewards plus card and have been very happy with it but chase cracks me up every week for the last 3 months I have received an offer for the Chase Freedom World Mastercard but with no bonus points to signup. Also, chase seems to think I really need a United Visa card and a BP card as they send these offers 2x a month as well.

I got the Chase Freedom World MasterCard w/ the 20,000 bonus points too. I'm VERY tempted. But I just opened a Citi American Express card a couple of months ago (purely to get the 10,000 points and double points for a year, then I'll shut it down) so I'm not sure if I should be opening another card so soon afterwards...
