a couple times I have hit points were an application can't continue after making some mistakes and being prompted to correct them.
FYI, there may very well be a better offer for that card here. Search around. Many of the citicards give $150 in giftcerts.

can you redeem these Thankyou points for real dollars or do you have to get coupons? If so, how much are these coupons generally worth in relation to the points?

I did not see any personal CITI cards giving more than 100$, do you have a link or some more info on the card: name, keyword, etc.
Just wondering if anyones tried and been able to apply for this card and grab the 10,000 bonus ThankYou Points after first purchase and five ThankYou Points at supermarkets, drugstores and gas stations for 12 months Promo ?
The offer in has OP has a 3% balance transfer fee (max $75).
There's a similar offer for AMEX with no balance transfer fee:
apply here with code F4C5 No fee BT at 0% until 4/1/2008 $100 gift card (10,000 TY points) Double TY Points for 12 months (not as good as OP's offer, in which you get 5 TY points) offer expires 5/15/2007
if you can wait a week or so, there will probably be another offer code with 0% until 5/1/2008

I asked about the double points. The 5 TY points does not apply to the double points. So you can't get 10 TY points for each $1 in gas, grocery, drug stores. I know it sucks. I would love that. Plus, in the ad, it doesn't say anything about 5 TY points. This looks the best because it's a $100 gift card.

Question, where did you find this besides the link? Can I call in to get this? I don't really like giving out my information over the internet and rather say it over the phone... I see the deal, but I wonder if they're going to ask me for a promotion code or something since on the website it only gives a regular 6000 points for this card. Please help if you can. I will most likely get this card. Thanks.

Spalgutt, your "name, rank, and serial number" are easily accessible by anyone who runs a credit check on you. Your social security number is available on a host of internet databases for a very low fee. You're more at risk in giving a waiter your credit card than you are in sending information on the Net to Citibank. Hey, there may even be a ring of Citibank workers who sell your information to others.
Privacy is a quaint but antiquated concept in the computer age.
Years ago in Massachusetts, the Registry used Social Security numbers for Driver's licenses. Concern was raised when it was revealed that felons from minimum security prisons were working for the Registry and had access to everyone's licenses. Whoooooooooooooooooooops!!!!!!

So even if I may have spyware or a virus on my computer, you think that's safer than calling in?

I think that everyone should be running an Antiviral program coupled with a firewall primarily to prevent corruption of your machine.
However, your PRIVACY has been long ago "corrupted" by databases. For $20, anyone can find out your Social Security number from the comfort of his/her living room. A waiter at your nearby restaurant may be selling your credit card data this evening.
If you're modest, I'd urge you to undress with the blinds down. However, you're already stripped naked when it comes to identifying data. Don't "sweat the Net"...

Gas is still less expensive today than ~1980 in constant dollars though it's getting close. But cars back then got about 10 miles per gallon. Quit whining. Who told you to buy an SUV anyway?
i got this card last fall, should i apply for another? cancel the other one first?

Does anybody have a scan for this offer?
Yeah, I'd love to see a scan for this offer. I'd give up the 10,000 free points to have a years worth of double points.
spalgutt, are you saying you called in and confirmed that the Double Points offer is valid right now?
Just Apply this link below works already got the 10,000 points
