This deal is for Discover card Holders who regularly purchase at WalMart or samsclub only.

All Discover credit card purchase are automatically considered as Debit card purchases.

So you can get upto 60$ CashBack on a single purchase but will be considered as Credit card purchase and not as cash withdrawal.

Here is Example

You make a purchase of $2.00 at WalMart.
While paying it will ask Do you want CashBack?
You can get upto 60.00 CashBack on a single purchase.

2.00 purchase
60.00 CashBack
----------
62.00 Total purchase amount @ standard purchase APR

Repeat this 10 times and you get 600.00 in cash with which you can pay other credit cards with Higher APR and also get $6.00 in CashBack amount which can be redeemed as low as 20.00$ itself

you deposit 60.00 back into you bank account and pay the Discover credit card Bill

So now you get CashBack for 60.00 though you did not spend that money.

IF you want to withdraw cash from ATM you can avoid ATM fees by getting CashBack from Discover card purchase.

IF you have 0.00% APR on your card this will really good get CashBack and pay other card with higher APR. It will be like a balance transfer without paying 3% fee

This takes some work but if you regularly purchases from WalMart or samsclub it wont take much time to CashBack.
I have done this many times and it shows up as credit purchase And i use the cash at other stores that accept cash or debit cards.

I searched for Discover card but did not find any Sorry if its a repost

It's a repost.

And, IIRC, Discover are doing away with this very shortly

while i knew about cash over and its (soon to be over) rewards at other stores, I did not know that it worked at wally world. green for you OP

I have a discover card w/ 0% for the life of the balance as long as 2 purchases made monthly. Unfortunately they would only give me a very small limit. I only use the card twice monthly for very small purchases just to keep it at 0%. Interested in this post, as I think it might help me pay off another 0% cards that is about to expire. Curious though, what about the minimum montly finance fee? It currently for me is $.50, if I did this scenario w/the $600 would the monthly finance fee go up for just that month? Hope this ? makes sense. Thanks!

I used this @ Vons a lot, but there, the limit was $50.
