First post of this kind so please don't flame me. I just received an offer from BoA to activate a program called Autovantage Enhanced (24hr roadside assistance/help with auto financing/etc.). The program itself isn't that great of a deal at $14.99/month, but the inclusion of $40.00 worth of Lowe's gift cards for activation seems pretty hot. Especially considering that you can cancel the program during the free trial and still receive and keep the gift cards. So that's $40.00 in Lowe's gift cards for activating and then canceling a service. Anybody heard of this Autovantage Enhanced program before, or its parent company Trilegiant? I searched BoA and didn't see this offer posted thus far, but I know its restricted to BoA checking account holders. I figure since everyone has gotten their $75-$125 in cash from them, why not get an extra $40.00. Thanks guys, and don't burn me too hard.
if you do a search in the archives and active threads...this is posted often...trilegiant does these programs....not worth anything but some free gift cards...

As maddy said, this has been posted many times. See Here Autovantage is a great program to join however, as it's basically the same thing as AAA and they have some serious retention quality. I tried to quit the free service (with 40$ signup bonus) twice and both times got my free trial extended by 2 months. Ended up with ~5 months of free AAA with the original signup bonus and an additional set of 5$ rebates usable in individual time spans (only one of which could be used during the trial period).
Had a guy come out and jump the car during this time and it cost nothing. The Autovantage program gets two thumbs up from me as a free service. Wouldn't pay 15$ a month for it, but if they're paying you... take it.
Hi Maddy, FWL, just curious, Do they send gift card automatically after sign-up? or you have to send some kind of documents.
I vaguely remember signing up for one of their link last year through Buy.com, where you have to send them Buy.com purchase receipt and they give you 25$ back.

There was a recent program which required a voucher to be sent to obtain the reward voucher....voucher's for vouchers! I hope these don't repeat that ploy.
Trilegiant is officially my favorite trial company. They are the best 'profit sharing' group around. Long live Trilegiant! Lord knows, I've been trying to drown them in red for years.
maddybeagle said:yeah, there is a little postcard you have to fill out in the enrollment package to get the gift cards.... Some TLG programs let you do it all online though.... Look out for an email that says something like "here is the information you requested".
On their website, they must have 20 or so programs. I am at home on dial up, so I would shoot myself if I had to go through all of them, but I checked out buyers advantage and they are offering a $20 Circuit City gift card.

Free companion airline ticket for trying Travelers Advantage (Blackout dates and offer restrictions apply).
There's certainly some freebies to be had here...over $200 worth + whatever the value of the airline ticket would be if you did that offer. I've seen people do more for less.
There's also a $50 offer for something called CompleteHomeHoly crap! I'm getting ripped off. Chase only offered me a $20 freebie for Complete Home.
Seems like Trilegiant's standard offer is $20 for most of these deals, but different affiliates give better bonuses. If only there was a website somewhere that tracked the best deals for all of their various programs...
