I was logging into my Citibank card online at www.citicards.com and noticed on the offers that cycle through (the 2nd offer) that they are offering the PremierPass card with a 25000 bonus, and 15 month BT (has 3%/$250 cap fee). Note it has a $75 annual fee. This still is a pretty good deal to get 25000 TY points, especially if you can find a way to avoid the annual fee. Originally link was not working but is working now.

Holy crap, 25k TY points and a 0% deal? That's pretty hot. Beats up on the short-lived Chase Freedom deal. Wonder if I can get the offer to show up right on my web browser.

Changing the numbers gets you to other random offers, but I didn't see a working PPE link.
Just got off the phone with citi, they see the problem, should be fixed in next 2 hours. i pushed them to make a note for my name that i do get the offer even if not avaliable later. they took down my name and social address. lets see

Well, I can see two uses for this card:
1) Bonus point-whoring.
2) The mother of all balance transfers. With a sufficiently large transfer, the extra 3 months on the 15 month transfer could be nice.
I'm pretty sure it's going to find it's way into my next AOR though!
The annual fee every year is too much..but still better than the 15k TY points regular deal. worth applying.
The no annual fee card is also now offering a 10,000 point bonus and 15 month BT (3% fee, $250 cap). The usual offer is 5,000 points.
Other FW's in the past have applied for the PP Elite card, got the bonus points, and then called in to downgrade to the regular PP card. If you do within a month or so, I've also read they'll refund the annual fee.
I just noticed that the T+C is only mentioning the normal 12 month BT. The offer page says 15 months but when you click on the T+C, it states "Balance transfer APR: As long as first balance transfer is completed within 12 months from date of account opening, 0.00% for 12 months from date of first balance transfer. After that, 14.24% variable."
Citi needs to get their act together...

Just as an FYI, Citibank will waive the $75 fee if you have CitiGold.
Are points earned on flights booked through the TY/Expedia redemption site using only points?

1) I value $250 cash over 25K TY points. YMMV
2) $250 BT fee means it is going to take a long time before I even break even (I don't itemize so I'd need to earn $250 in after tax dollars). In the mean time my utilization is hurting which could prevent me from getting a 0%/ no fee or $75 fee offer. No to mention in order to maintain the BT for the full 15 months you would probably have to pay out $150 in annual fees. You might get some of the second $75 payment back, I don't know.
No reason not to go for both deals, but I'll take (and did) the Chase deal myself.
I applied for this thing in my last AOR about 1.5 months ago and only 10k pts was offered. Think I can hassle them for the other 15k pts?
Well I have to disagree with Scooty on YMMV. Its not YMMV. You can obviously get 250 worth GC or else better off an expensive flight ticket worth more than 250 bucks.
