lhendricks92 said:speaking of which, not sure why you bailed on the M&T app because of the tax ID. there's an option for "sole proprietor," so i bet you could have just used your SSN.I don't know if I overlooked it on the application - but it seemed that without entering some kind of an EIN - it wouldn't let me go to the next page. Oh well - there will always be AOR 3.0 |

Oh - just noticed in the local newspaper that one of my tiny local banks is offering a 182 day (6mo) CD at 6.09% APY - expires July 1st. I doubt they're open on Sunday - so it might be a mad rush tomorrow morning when I get home to see if the Chase Biz card came, then call in to re-allocate lines and put at least $50k into the CD. While I'm planning to park most of the funds at FNBO, their rate expires in Sept, this CD would carry me through at least through January 1st. Unfortunately, we don't get mail until between 11 am - 1 pm, so I might miss a lot of the stuff. Seeing how other people got great lines from M&T, now I'm kicking myself for not paying closer attention to their application. I think I will call National City Biz back (denial) and speak to their lending dept. In fact - I'm going to call every denial back and ask them to reconsider. I wonder if Wachovia would pull TU for me - since I only got so few pulls, I'd be willing to shoot couple more apps that would be guaranteed TU pullers. |

m&t pulled LATE in my AOR. already had at least 10 hits on EQ showing, and they still approved for $25K. might be worth a shot to try again. EDIT: you actually have your own data point with your integra bank app, another elan card. that was pretty far down your list and you got approved. |

Even though I'm selecting Sole Proprietorship. |

Nice post, jairocon. 1) Have you or are you calling to request CLI's upon activation for all of the cards, or just the ones you mention gave increases? 2) Why did you decide to call plead to the one's you did? |

Higher CLs mean either higher amount of 0% BT lines available or lower overall utilizations once it all adds up. So sometimes you can actually get higher lines if you speak to a human. Then again - it's a hit or miss especially if they ask you how much of a line you want and you overshoot, you might lose your chance if they don't counteroffer. This way I only asked for $10k -> $15k initial CLI on PenFed, while lhendrick's asked for $12k->$20k. I think it all depends on how comfortable you are and how receptive the CSRs or underwriters are. |

I understand the concept (did one last November), I was curious as to why you chose to call the specific banks that you did. I didn't know if you had insight as to generosity of some banks' CSRs, or if you had experience with them before, etc. |

I'll be calling on Monday to either combine with my current providian card to get 6.5+7=13.5k line or to get higher CL. I was surprised as well - I expected more. |

Excellent job OP. Not going to do a silent pairing AOR this year, since I have other priorities. Another pitfall might be that Citi seems to no longer reallocate CLs to low APR cards; you can still consolidate but this means another twist if you don't want to lose some rewards cards. EG you have card A (which you want to keep it for rewards or b/c it has a long history) with some $25K CL, card B (you don't especially like, it was a good 0% card but that expired) and now you're acquiring a 0% card with a relatively low CL. My approach is to move most CL from A to B and consolidate only the B card with C. |

So the Suntrust Visa offer expired 6/29? The current application only shows an uncapped 3% fee. |
