CSR on the phone surprisingly quoted no fee for BT, I thought I'd have to fight them on it. Let's see if they actually make it happen properly. This is exactly what happened with me. Hope things go a little easier for you. Btw Bofa Biz CSRs are so much dumber, slower and highly ineffective compared to the personal FIA CSRs. amen, brother! |

jaricon, lhendricks: Have you guys linked the former MBNA billpay with the Juniper National Park Foundation credit card? Barclays Bank is an option on the billpay site, but no Juniper. I am unfamiliar with Barclays/Juniper, but I suspect billpay to Barclays will work. Here's hoping that you guys had some experience in the matter. Also, Do you know of any way to link Cap One Credit Cards to the former MBNA billpay? |

Eh, just got a new verizon phone last night and of course they pull experian. I guess I'll have to dispute that inquiry at some point to get it off. Weird thing about the BofA Biz BT - nothing in my FNBO yet - and while the whole last week my available balance on BofA Biz was showing $0, today it's back to $34,500 - which means they probably didn't do the BT. Time to call and complain. |

I requested an ACH on 7/5, but the transfer didn't go through until 7/12 after BofA received a BT payment from Bank Atlantic. I suspect the $1200 BT fee that they incorrectly charged was keeping the ACH from proceeding because there was no available credit until the payment. I will have to go through this again when I call them back and ask them to BT the remaining available credit. I'm sure that I will have to have them reverse the fee once again and am planning to leave enough credit available for the fee to post first this time. |

However, you might be right about the fee (even though I have been assured and re-assured that there's no BT fee). Usually in my experience BTs to checking/savings take about 2 biz days w/ BofA, not sure about the Biz side, that's why I gave them a week. I guess I'm going to call anyway. |

I'm sure you've learned by now to take everything a CSR tells you with a grain of salt. This BofA Power card is an extreme case even by these low standards. I faxed them the pdf I saved of the application where it says, "No Balance Transfer Fees" and got them to notate my account as such before I requested the original ACH. The fee was still charged because their computer system still thinks that this account has a 3% fee and I don't think they know how to fix it. Since the documents that I received with the card mention the 9 months 0% promo but with a 3% fee, I suspect something got lost in translation from the application to the creation of the account. |

Last week I couldn't get a hold of any CSRs - after I got done punching in my info - the phone recording would say all the reps are busy please call later. Today after being on hold for now 20 minutes, the call just cut out. And here I am holding again... btw my paperwork that came w/ the card also indicated 3% fee and so do the checks that came in the mail. Oh finally - got the CSR on the phone who says it's still showing in their system as pending. So I guess I'm going to have to wait and see what happens. |

And my 10k starpoints posted today as well! Is this a result of your 06/19/2007 application? Wow, a check in just one month!.. Those Starwood points are good, 9500 of them buys you a $100 Amazon.com giftcard (not sure if one can convert the remaining 500 into miles though). |

Starwood points are definitely going towards free nights at Sheraton hotels |

FNBO shows a $34.5k deposit from FIA card services with yesterday's date - so the BofA Biz BT went through! Nothing shows on my BofA Biz statement, even the available balance is still $34.5k. Yesterday I also re-allocated my personal BofA lines getting almost $38k line and leaving $500 CL on the rest of them. Then I asked for the full $38k BT into FNBO, hopefully there will be no problems with it. I still need to BT from National City personal line, BT the rest of Juniper's line and decide whether to BT CitiBiz or wait a few months. Oh and Suntrust also, I can wait a few months for that one. Maybe I'll try a CL re-allocation from my Citi Dividend to CitiBiz and just go for that BT right away. |

I'll be making minimum payments using billpay cards up to $500 limit (hoping that BofA gets a hint and raises those limits soon) and the remaining payments will be going from BofA BT card (0%/12mo/nofee). |

I don't think waiting a few months is a good idea ... it lowers your overall efficiency (how much money you could earn by doing AOR in a given time). One months to do purchases and collect rewards may be Ok, but still needs calculation ... |

Suntrust is I think 6 months at 0% and I have 3 months to start the clock. That's why I considered waiting. Otherwise I wouldn't. National City (personal) has not been done because I ran out of BT targets and didn't want to risk overpaying my USAA card. I guess I could cash advance on my new penfed gold though... perhaps that's what I'll do today. |

I was coming from the angle of "waiting 3 months now delays your next AOR by 3 months", i.e. introduces a period of time when you're not utilizing your potential to earn money to the full extent possible/reasonable. |

The only reason I'd leave the CitiBiz BT untouched is that it would provide a security blanket for the next 12 months in case I needed to get my hands on extra money for something unexpected. While the reasoning sounds weird even to me, I do feel a bit safer knowing I have an untapped source of extra money that's out there for the taking if anything should happen. And since it is a biz card, it wouldn't necessarily affect the AOR 3.0 except perhaps the Citi applications. |

National City will let you request a check made out to you. Good option if you've run out of cards to BT to. |
