My question is why are so many otherwise seemingly intelligent FWers having unprotected sex with women they don't trust?

The big problem is a women can put any guys name on the Birth Certificate and then you must prove you're not the father
I read a story once about this guy who are forced to pay for child support even after the DNA test proved he isn't the father. Talk about a double whammy. Finding out the kid ain't yours + having to pay for him/her till 18.

You might be talking about someone I know personally

He paid for the divorce and alimony for years and years till his "son" turned 18. He then, mistakenly, stopped paying, thinking he no longer owes her anything. Wrong. Wife sued him. Lawyer tells him he still needs to pay alimony to her until she remarries. During all of that, he finally, *check this out*, found out from the "son" that he was NOT the father. In the son's defense, I was told he had no knowledge of all this until the alimony issue re-surfaced and somehow his mom accidentally blurted it out. Ouch.

actually, have ur nuts tied up and ur all good, and don't tell the girl you're having sex w/
i'm not sure what would happen if she tries to sue you for child support for a kid that is not yours as we all know the family court is rigged against the men.

I know lots of guys who couldnt resist and ended up with a kid, but no one who culdnt resist and ended up with a wife!

i heard on tv (so it must be true) that in some places a woman can put any man's name on a birth cert and if he doesn't challenge it within 2 years (how would he even know?) then the kid is his and he has to pay. so no, condoms or tying up won't help.
