Me Too. I will be calling to complain. We all should. At least try to get some bonus points or something.

See this link for Chase contacts. Try them all, post results.

Thanks!

You mean complain that you are among the last few to finally get converted in this dragged out process that took Chase over 4 years to finish?...
You should be celebrating that you had all that extra time to get so many more cash rewards...
You can complain if you like but sorry to have to tell you this, you'll just be wasting your time...

well, as of aug. 30 (i just found out) i got converted to the chase freedom card with 5% CashBack for their bonus categories........boo hoo. i think my AMEX still gives 3% for gas, so i'll use that if so.

apologies from resurrecting an old thread, would anyone from the Aug 2011 conversion have a copy of the letter from Chase?

Chase is informing me I was converted over in June 2011- but I was part of the last batch to get converted. I an unable to find my letter at home.

Thanks

I just found out my Chase Rewards mastercard, which had Chase Plus Rewards with 3% back on gas, grocery and drug store purchases got converted to Ultimate Rewards. I got no advanced notice of this conversion, and only found it out when I got my most recent December statement, which showed points transferred into the Ultimate Rewards program. Knew this would happen eventually, but kind of pissed that I got no notice of this to plan for my purchases made in Novemeber.

I have another card that can give me 3% back on gas, but can anyone recommended a better card to use for grocery and drug store purchases now?

1) Sallie Mae card (no annual fee), 5% back on grocery (limit $25 Cash Back per month)
2) AMEX Everyday (no annual fee), 3% back on grocery (no limit on Cash Back per month)
3) AMEX Preferred (75/annual fee), 6% back on grocery (no limit)

there are others but these are the ones that I'm the most familiar with.

If you have "Envaulted", 2 & 3 can get up to 1.25% additional Cash Back depending on which tier you are on.

Just noticed that Q2 of the Chase Freedom card is going to be grocery. I will restock my Grocery store gift cards during that quarter to make it at least another year or two. The limit is $1500 apparently but I only shop for myself so that should be sufficient.

I guess I'm really lucky cause I still have the cash plus rewards. Anyone else out there? I was wondering whether it would be a bad idea to apply for the Chase Sapphire card before the 50,000 pt bonus runs out. Not sure if applying for another Chase card will shine a light on my cash plus rewards card that apparently has been discontinued...

I used to have two Cash Plus Rewards with 5% on gas/grocery/drugstores.
Last year I applied for the AARP card, Chase converted one of my Cash Plus Rewards to the Freedom card.
Now I still have one. I guess I am also one of the few lucky....

have you applied for any other chase cards?

Still have mine. Wonder if the fact that I already have a Freedom card makes a difference.

Note: I have applied for and received 2 Chase cards in the past year.

Yep, just got a Sapphire recently and have had other cards including Freedom before that. Have a Marriott Rewards now too.

Still have mine as well. I also have a chase freedom card and United Skymiles card as well as personal and business checking at chase.

I still have the Cash Plus Rewards card too. I love it I hope it never changes, we earn $50 every 3 months using this card. I don't know it is because I had another Chase card that was originally a PayPal Visa, which got bought by WaMu and then switched to Chase when WaMu got taken over.
