From a 1st glance it does not look diversified enough. (Currently see 4 Citi, 4 Discover, 2 BOA, Chase, Pulaski.)

You may not get much more from Citibank w/ your Citi 31K CL. And it appears that Citi doesn't like to realloc to 0% BT cards. I would try for Citi Home Rebate for 3 reasons 1) 6% rebate paid to mortgage in 1st year, 2) another BT transfer point (w/ easy online check request) 3) global utilization reduction.

Too many Discovers. From other posts, they are stingy on # of cards and initial CL.

And the big thing now are Business cards for longer 0% BT (up to 15 months) and to hide utilization.

8/13... kristi called from Pulaski Bank to verify employment... I answered the call and transferred her to HR. She called me 10 minutes later: "we verified employment but still need a nearest relative."

I didn't think they actually verified that crap. I simply put my brother's fname with city and zip. for the addr1 i put "no way" for addr2 i put "in H_LL" I happily gave her my brothers REAL info with a laugh. She said a few of the 'other girls here' thought it was funny too.

WTF.... are they cross-selling to my brother? or just using him for collections' contact...?

I would not touch Pulaski with a 10ft. stick, no matter how sweet their card(s) may appear. They pulled my CR, then said they'd need some personal and (imho) rather irrelevant info faxed/mailed to them. After I'd sent the info to them they denied me citing too many inquiries (they could have done it right after they got the CR , darn hypocrits).

Pulaski sent a letter declining my application for credit.

  • The reason given was: Unable to verify employment.

This was caused, I'm sure, by the fact I listed my own work number as the employer phone and when they called asking for verification I foolishly panicked and said, "please hold." I came back on the line after 30 seconds, apologized for the hold and transferred the call to the main front desk believing they would in turn give the Pulaski rep to HR. Either by employer (a)won't do verifications or (b) Pulaski thought the hold and transfer spiel was phony and the "front desk" was perhaps a friend in on "the game" of acquiring credit. I don't think I'll pursue this one as I've heard nothing but B-A-D things regarding Pulaski (cyberkost's experience here and here).

I also received a CLI declined letter from M&T (Elan) for the following principal reason: Missing Authorized Officer signature
