Due to a HUGE problem, this thread has been deleted. Someone managed to steal one of my card numbers and ran ran up over $30k in charges, as per Chase. Chase cancelled my card.
Good job, nice to see a 21 year old pulling off a pretty good AOR.

Notice I didn't apply for any AMX's. I *really* don't want to trigger a FR with them by asking them for more cards.
Edit: Ill be adding links and making it nicer little by little. Does not mean you're in the clear with AMEX. They routinely do soft reviews and a sudden big change in your overall credit could trigger an FR

I don't know how you do it. I am having problems with credit allowance. Maybe I should do more than a few banks.

I'm 22 and I'm having trouble getting anything over $5000. My credit history is longer than yours with nothing negative on it. How did you get a $44,000 line with AMEX? Maybe it's the $30,000 in student loans that I have that scare companies.

Looks pretty solid, you got a good mix of applications
3 acceptances from HSBC, who has a rep for being stingy with new cards and new lines. I predict disappointment.
That's a lot of Chase applications (6?). It will be interesting to see if you hit them too hard. You also might not get all three Discover cards.
Noticed you didn't apply for any Citibank personal cards, might want to throw one in the mix. I think the CitiProfessional w/ 15k TYP, has the best deal, plus I perceive that it being semi-personal, semi-business might be useful (I hope I get mine approved)

Opened two, used the online CLI for both, called rep to consolidate the two, rep canceled second one, the second one still hasn't shown up on my credit report and it's been a while

Discover wouldn't surprise me if I get rejected, considering they normally have a 1/1 policy. I also didn't notice I only applied for one citi card, have the link for that one?

Is it just me or does anyone else see something not quite right with this?
no prob... he could be ALMOST 22, an been working since he was ALMOST 16...
i have had a part time (or under the table, or HELPER job) since I was 11... started out carrying groceries out to cars for tips, then cleaning up food joints during business and after closing for a few bucks... until I coould LEGALLY work (15 in my state, with a work permit)... cooking, waiting tables, catering, then bartending (drinking age was 18)... I made a BOATLOAD of money (at the time) for someone under 21!!!

The supermarkets around here hire bagboys (or at least used to) at age 14.
I always thought the CC companies wanted to know how long you were at your current job. Not how long you've held some kind of employment. Congrats on earning 110k, unless that is a fudged number, i.e. you are adding your income + someone else's.

I have been self-employed, working for myself, for 6 years now. If they ask for household income, I give them my HOUSEHOLD income, if they ask for personal income, I give them my PERSONAL income. A few asked for both, and I broke it down accordingly.

So are you a double CCIE or something? $110k even self-employed with everything working out and falling into place running your own business is rare. I guess I need to make the jump into self-employment. Much easier without a wife and 2 kids.
Or am I missing that your HHI includes "parental units"?

......my old boss use to make about 200k a year self-employed and paid his workers(college students) $50 an hour x30 a week. this does not include his gf's income or income from his stocks. worst part about it was he did not have any cerf's. he was self taught.
well you owned my AOR so far, im turning 21 next month. i applied for 14 cards and only got approved for 2 so far, one for 10k another for 12.5k. hopefully i will start getting some approval letters. congrats though your doing very well in your AOR and in life, haha. link to mine if your interested

Sorry I didn't post anything yesterday. It was a family member's birthday and I didn't even see the computer yesterday.
Anyways, there's a new account on my credit report, under FIA CSNA for $5,000. Any idea who that could be?

I was about to suggest that it would be a Charles Schwab credit card, but you didn't apply for one, did you? Then I would guess it would be the FIU Alumni card. Although no credit cards start with seven (might not be the full account number you're seeing).

i would recommend this card for everyday uses, when u reach tier 2 or tier 3 on their rewards level, it gets dang good.
if u want to do a balance transfer, its 1.9APY. deposit straight to checking with 75$ fee.
On a side note, I see you only got a 5k limit from them. This is really low for a prestige card from MBNA. When you call to activate , ask for another 5k increase.
they will ask for your hhi, then up it right on the spot.
