Question about Bank Atlantic and AOR

That is what I did. Bank Altantic gives good lines but their (Juniper) systems are bad

I did not request a balance transfer at the time of app because I didn't have a balance to transfer. They gave me 25K so I really want to find a way to take advantage of it. I talked to the CSR and she confirmed that they will do a BT at 0% for 15 months with max BT fee of $75 but definitely will not transfer into my checking account.

same here. no BT check in the welcome package. called CSR and they don't BT to checking or send BT checks, only convenience checks at the cash advance rate. so i will just BT to a citi card (once i get them) and do a credit balance refund.

why don't you just overpay your citi card and ask for the refund check,they (Citi) take about 7 days to send.

weird how they make you BT $250 less than the credit line but the fee is $75. not bad 0% 15 months 1% payback ,not on personal credit report. can't really complain much eh?

everyone pulls Equifax in GA (since they are based out of here). Oddly this bank did not, nor did FIA/MBNA.

Equifax 3 in 1 seems to not know lame product, thankfully it was free unthankfully due to lexisnexis data leak.

if you want to know who pulls what from where, you gots to go to the credit pulls database at creditboards.

They pulled TU for me, in southern CA.

Search under "Barclays" and/or "Juniper." They always pull TU for me in Virginia. YMMV.

how many business cards actually show up? i've yet to see any "business" cards on my reports only "professional" and thats citi professional and not my chase professional which oddly looks real similar.

I just wanted to relate my experience thus far with Bank Atlantic and their Business Rewards card. I applied and was approved for a 30K credit line. On 8/9, I called to make a balance transfer of 28K and was told that I'd have to make two BTs because of a 20K limit on each transfer, and that I'd have to pay fees on both transfers. (This wasn't a surprise because I'd read about it on other FW threads.) I designated the same BOA credit card for the BT. (It would have resulted in a credit balance for which I'd request a check.) On 8/20, after nothing had posted to BOA, despite Bank Atlantic's web site saying the BTs had been processed, I called Bank Atlantic and was told that due to "an error", the BTs hadn't actually occurred and I'd have to re-request them. I was also told that this time I could do a single 28K BT, and that the BT would take 7 - 10 days to show in my BOA CC account, because they send a check to BOA. Too bad they wouldn't send the check to me!

How long have you had you BankAtlantic "business" card to confirm that it does not it show up?

Mine has not shown up. I've had mine since late June. I did my BT in late June. 2 statements have occurred. My Travelocity (Juniper/barclay) card showed up the day after my AOR.

Thanks for letting us know - I'm hoping the reports on creditboards regarding this card reporting to personal were anomalies - cuz I just found out my biz was approved for 50K - with 0% for 15 months on bts. Sweet

While on the subject, anyone ever try to reallocate juniper lines. Do you think it possible to move bank atlantic lines over to say the national parks card?
