I cancelled and accepted it, But I didn't have any confirmation email. How long ago did you cancel/accept? I cancelled/accepected on 8/29. I think it takes awhile, just like the trial membership itself. Has your cc be charged? |

Do I have to call cs to verify the offer? Or should I wait a couple of days more? I should have been more clear. I'm in the same boat. IIRC, I signed up for the trial offer on 8/22 and rec'd the email notification later that evening. First-Time user access on 8/23. CC charged on 8/23, posted on 8/24. Cancelled trial/accepted new offer 8/29. 7th day of 7-day trial on 8/29, updated CR. First "new contract" update on 8/30. Awaiting to access today 8/31 at approx 3:45PM PDT. Still no cc charge nor email notice. |

Same thing here. I didn't get a confirmation after cancelling/accepting offer yesterday (8/30) and CC hasn't been charged yet. |

Did anyone have any luck signing up another person from the same household? Trying to sign up my wife (same address, her cc, phone, etc. information) I'm getting (*after* cc info is entered) "Because you're a current or recent member of Privacy Matters 1-2-3 this offer is no longer available to you, but ..." I'm thinking it's gotta be the same address (cache, cookies, ip address etc. is not an issue b/c I signed up at work using a different computer, and she's attempting it from home) or the deal is gone altogether ... I tried going straight from privacymatters.com (not using the link in the summary) -- this time around clicking "Submit" button in step 2 gets me "please verify your credit card information (5951)" (it is correct) ... tried a couple of cards -- same thing. Update: on every attempt PM123 put a $1 authorization on the respective CCs. Hope these will not become actual charges (I presume it'll take a lot of calling to get them reversed). |

Slightly OT. Is there an easier way to logon to PM? I've been going to the screen where I have to enter my member number and zip, they bypass the stupid gift card offer, then enter my userid and pw. I tried bookmarking the screen with the userid and pw, but when I tried it the next day, it went back to the member id zip code screen. What a PITA! |

What a PITA! If you use the link in the membership e-mail you got it will take you directly to the stupid gift card offer (you'll bypass having to enter your membership number and zip). |

In Firefox and IE I get the same message: "The following information is invalid or missing: CREDIT CARD NUMBER or CREDIT CARD TYPE. Please re-enter or contact Membership Services via the toll-free number or e-mail provided on the Contact Us page." The info I entered was correct and I tried several different cards. Is it dead now? |

What a PITA! Try this: http://privacymatters123.com/XIA/login.aspx?C1=YOURMEMBERID&C2=YOURZIPCODE&NR=1 it takes you directly to the screen where you have to choose between first report and returning members. |

That worked great. Although I was unable to bookmark it when it went that page. I edited my bookmark to go there from now on. BTW, is anyone else noticing that you have to logoff and back on to get the newly requested report? And does anyone else find the picture of the "All American" family on the page where you select what you want to review a little too much? Yea, I'm going to have my daughter at the computer when I reviewing my credit info. |

hjpark92 said:Could you tell me how to get the new updated score? I couldn't find any links or buttons to get the new credit score.
Thanks. The score is calculated off your reports. So, just look at the score after you've pulled the fresh reports. There's no "gimme fresh score" button/link indeed. |
