DYING...Citi CashReturns MasterCard - UNLIMITED 5% cash back for 3 months

No limit? Even for the first 3 months? I see no mention of any caps for Cash.Back during the promotional period.

Citi's latest version of CashReturns is useless, but this link still has the original offer:

Be careful to take snapshots of the offer page and T&C in case Citi neglects to give you the correct version.

"From talking to Citi, the rewards are based on transaction date, and not on posting date. BTW, here is a handy calculator to figure out when your 90 days ends:

Date Calculator

Add 90 days to the "member since" date shown in the "Rewards" section. That date would be your end date (inclusive of that day)."

Intersting. Very interesting. Time to start haggling those car salesman to allow max CC charge. Or buy a bunch of bonds? Hope this card sticks around until November...

I was thinking paypaling myself money.

there are alot of creative ways to do this one since the CashBack is so high, a bit of processing fees wont hurt.

Kind of no easy way to get the most out from this card...no 0% APR on purchase and no cap on BT fee. Good, if u charge a lot of $$$$$.

Just checked and of course the pull was from Experian, Why the heck can't I get any pulls from EQ or TU?

Also another question - do you have to pay a balance transfer fee for the initial balance transfer?

I think if you try to Paypal a huge amount of money, they will probably lock the account due to activity out of character

Not sure if you can convert but I called CITI and asked if I could close and reallocate my line from Diamonds Preferred to this one and was told I could. So as soon as I get mine I plan on doing that. Hope I get a decent line and then I can add the $62,500 CL. Got that high by Closing my CITI Hilton and adding to my Diamond. So I only have 1 CITI card and should have no problem getting this one

does it have to be easy for you too? NO ONE WOULD WANT TO DO A BT ON THIS CARD ANYWAYS, THATS NOT WHAT ANY 5% CARD I HAVE EVER SEEN SHOULD BE USED FOR.

how easy is it to close this card after the 3 months of 5%?
and are there any fees?

because i think most of us will do just that as soon as the 5% runs out.
