If you xfer more than 3k per month paypal fees go to 1.9% Googlecheckout has no fees until 2007. I personally send about 10k$ per month to the same person per month no ?'s asked(buisness) (you want to use a realitive\trusted friend) |

I can't believe they really have no limits. I currently cycle around 10-20k per month through for purchases. If I do 40k in 3 month this would give me 2k in rewards. Can anybody confirm after they received the card that there is no limit. I know somebody that runs 100k on his AMEX each month for his business. Would be curious to see how citi would deal with that. |

I bet it would be hard to run $100k a month via this card unless Citi would issue you a ridiculous credit line. Citi more than likely will refuse to allow people to move credit lines over to this card durning the promo period as this card also has a 0% BT promo offer. This is just my guess but I could be totally wrong. |

Got deferred but I'm sure it will not be a problem since I am down to 2 Citi credit cards at the moment. I just paid 1/4 of my daughter's tuition on Friday but I have 3 more payments to go. Interestingly, I somehow got 5% back on my tuition payment last year on my AT&T Universal card. Not sure why that happened but I never complained. It happened twice (then they cancelled the card ). |

5% CashBack is definitely promising - a couple things I can think of - 1) Pay my MBA tuition even with the 2.5 % surcharge AND pay my property-taxes again with the 2.5% surcharge! |

Hmmm, well my semiannual 522$ car insurance bill is due this month, I won't be able to get this card in time to use it to pay that. Other than that I (hopefully) don't have anymore major expenses for awhile. I wonder if this offer will be around for the next month or so? Then I can use it for my Christmas shopping in December?? |

Does anyone have any examples of how much of a CL they got? I have the feeling the credit lines won't be very big. After the 3 months this is a crap card. Nothing to see here, move along. |

On second thought, screw using this card to get 5% off my Chrsitams shopping, I'll use my Citi Driver's Edge to get buy gift cards with a 6% rebate. This card is just good for the stuff that my Driver's Edge and my Home Rebate card won't handle, which isn't a lot, especially since at the same time I'm trying to spend 500$ on my Discover More card and 250$ on my new University of Iowa card to get their cash bonuses. |

aznbenz said:I will go ahead and add this to my list of applications to be done. Perfect for my $20k tuition and will go ahead and open a Citi checking to take advantage of this 5%. Thanks OP. Recently I tried funding my Citi checking account through Citi CC. It failed and I was told by citicards that it was being processed as "cash advance". However I tried using a Chase CC and it was processed as purchase. Does anybody else have similar experience when funding with Citi CC? |

If I convert other Citi credit cards to this one, does Citi still pull my credit? Thanks. |

Does anyone know if Citibank imposes a limit to overpayment? If there's none, credit line shouldn't matter at all in using this card to make a big puchrase. Simply overpay enough in advance. |

I know, I am impatient, But I just pulled my report and the new card did just show up on my report. CL's do seem low as I only got $10k but planning on moving my Diamond CL to this. So looks like I wont have card for tax free weekend but hope to have it next week to pay a college bill |
