I noticed that citi revamped their website for credit card users today, so I hope the bridgetrack link works again. If anyone has a working 5% link PLEASE post!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! Ok you can click on the bridgetrack link and you get the 5% offer, but I get an error when I try to click to apply. I have tried Microsoft and Firefox. Is it seriously working for others??? |

Does anyone know if I am allowed to have two of these cards in the same name with the same offer. My 5% for 3 months ran out a few days ago. Am I eligible for another one. If not, can someone please quote where they saw that fine print. (Maybe under terms and conditions) etc... |

I just received a strange statement (PDF online). I tried to payoff my card before the statment closes but somehow the payment posted faster than the charge (charged on Saturday and payment made on Monday) so I ended up with the payment made it in while the charge got posted to the next billing period:
Base CitiDollars Earned 1,500.15 Card Member Bonus CitiDollars Earned 6,000.6 Total CitiDollars Earned this period 7,500.75 Total CitiDollars Redeemed 7,500.75 Total CitiDollars Available 0.00
I am wondering if I will be getting 4% rebate or 5%? Anyone seen this before?
"Total CitiDollars Redeemed 7,500.75" <-- this is the size of the check you'll be getting (it seems to be 5% for you). Good job!
Thanks. Stupid me. Did you receive the check yet? did they close the account? Whats the largest CashReturns check that did you guys receive?

Whats the largest CashReturns check that did you guys receive? Yes I did receive the check. Thanks. No they have not closed my account. In theory if you have a 100K limit and charge 100K everyday you can get 20 * 100K * 0.05 = 100K check. So everyone fess up here which big fish lurking here is getting 100K checks? I am starting to use this card again (got a BOA card since this was my only card) but have been flagged three times in 10 days to call in. |

Early fraud detection (which usually flags for large, frequent, or suspicious charges). Or are you getting flagged from someone else. Please explain what happens when you are "flagged" and how you resolve it.

I have just been approved for my 3rd CashReturns card. This time I got an initial CL of $7300 which will be reallocated to my current $29,700 CL from the 1st and 2nd cards. So far this has been a great opportunity. I have been averaging over a $1000 check every month with a best month of over $2000 CashBack. |

On your 1st and 2d card, what's the total CashBack you've received from each? I'm asking, because I keep hearing about Citibank taking adverse action on these credit cards -- and it's unclear/unknown whether that's because there's too much spending on these cash rebate cards or too many inquiries on credit reports or for some other reasons (e.g., AORs?), so I wanted to get some kind of data point. Myself, I've only had my 1st CashReturns card for 2 months now -- first CashBack check was for $350; this coming rebate check (hopefully next week) will be about $2500. Wanted to get an idea of how much more I can spend without drawing attention for AA. Much appreciated. |

Much appreciated. I do not have an exact number off hand but I would say it will be about $7500 CashBack over the first 6 months with the 2 cards. With my first one my CL was only $19700 so I had to make payments throughout the month to release some more line to continue using. I use well over $20000 a month on my card and have yet to pay any finance charges except for a VERY small currency exchange for a Canadian purchase. I have not applied for ANY other forms of credit since I had started with the Returns card so no inquires other than Citi. |

Applied on-line today (7/12) for 2nd CashReturns card for me, using 6/3 bridgetrack link. The 3-month 5% Cash Back still showed on the offer. (As usual, that's the only place one can see the extra 4% bonus; it's not mentioned at all during the application process.) * Was given a "we'll contact you within 30 days" message. * 10 minutes later, called the application check status number (888-201-4523 - note that the FWF thread says M-F, but I was able to speak with someone today, Saturday), and was told that the application was in process and that I'd get a response -- probably a phone call within 7 - 10 days. * Within an hour after the application, received a phone call from Citibank Credit Cards, saying I was approved with a $500 limit, and asking if I wanted to apply the credit limits from my other two Citi credit cards to the new CashReturns card. Also confirmed 5% Cash Back on all purchases for the first 3 months. The other Citi cards: Citi Professional Cash Card - 15K CL, 0 balance. (I'd paid off the 0% BT a few days ago.) - Closed and consolidated CL to new CashReturns card. This is despite numerous unsuccessful attempts to do the same thing for my first CashReturns card. CashReturns card - 43.9K CL, slight credit balance. Re-allocated all but 1K of CL to new CashReturns card. New CashReturns card: 58.4K CL. Should receive it within 7 - 10 days. Additional data: Hard inquiry was on Experian; first CashReturns card inquiry was on Equifax. I'm in CA. I had 11 hard inquiries on Experian prior to this one, 6 within the last year. The way my wife and I use our CashReturns cards: I've not experienced adverse action on the card thus far, and neither has my wife. We are authorized users on each other's cards. We've spent up to 2x the CL on each card during each monthly statement cycle, with transaction totals approaching 91% of the CLs. However, we make payments multiple times during each statement cycle, and we don't load up both cards such that their combined balances at any given time are greater than 60% of their combined CLs. And we try to get the cards as close as possible to a zero balance before the end of a statement cycle, in the hope (but not certainty) that this will avoid having large outstanding balances reported to the credit bureaus, negatively impacting our FICO scores and/or applications for new credit. Caution: This is just my experience, and not by any means a definitive statement of how these things really work. We all have our own comfort zones, and the above paragraph describes ours. |

"General Error" now appears when you press the "Apply Now" button on the bridgetrack link. I think this is officially dead unless someone finds another link. |

I just tried it, and didn't get an error message. If you're getting the error message consistently, then clearing your cache and/or cookies and/or history (if you're using Internet Explorer) might help. Just be aware of the consequences of doing so, such as having to re-register your computer for certain sites (including on-line banking), and possibly having to answer some security questions. You might also have to re-enter things like your Privacy Matters 1-2-3 account number, and so on. I still clear the above items periodically, just to get rid of the excess garbage that tends to accumulate, including third-party advertising tracking cookies. |
