They told me they have had a website glitch and points are there just need to be credted to account.
I haven't had a problem with getting the points posted at all, within the same timeframes as mentioned here, I'm just waiting like everyone else for the TigerDirect email.

Oh. I got mine pretty quickly. Emailed. Strange that some people get it quickly and some don't get it at all.

Thanks. They are there after all. Did you call to get them credited or did you just wait?

Look through the thread. It's posted several times.

I did't see my the available points of 25k but it's showing advance points availability as 15k.

I see my 25,000 points finally.... now just hope Gus calls me back about the $100 GC...

Wish I would have had it for CyberMonday

alert mods

Saw my points in reward statement too. Gus hasnt responded to my email yet.

alert mods

I think we all should complain to AMEX, threaten to cancel our cards if we don't get our gift cards. What do you all think?

alert mods

I emailed Gus at 3 different email addresses 3 days ago: so far no response and no failed delivery messages.

Nothing from AMEX for those 25,000 points either, not on my previous statement, not anywhere. I think I got the 5,000 points for my first charge on the card, that's all.

FYI, I applied mid-October.

alert mods

No response from Gus, we need to just hammer their 1-800 with complaints...

enough calls there may get their attention since that is their revenue generating number...

alert mods

They claim they cannot do anything until 8 weeks have passed...so I guess I have to wait until next Friday....but then all hell breaks lose...

alert mods

Got my points and cashed them in for $250 home depot gift cards. Also got my tiger direct card awhile ago. If i call to cancel does that affect my credit? Since this is business it shouldnt right?

alert mods

Won't affect your credit, when you call to cancel, they'll offer you points to keep it open, take the points cash them out, then call back, again they'll offer points, cash again, repeat until they don't offer points or it's time to pay your annual fee which ever comes first.

My giftcard that I got from this deal back in october gave no expiration date only saying this
"A $2.00 per month service charge will be deducted from the gift card's remaining balance 12 months after purchase except where prohibited by law."

the gus guy never replies back ..send 3 emails ..called and left him a VM.

No response from GUS. I wonder what else can be done ?.

alert mods

They seem well aware of the problem when you call into customer service. However, when asking for the email address that I definitely used to sign up for the card, they claim it doesn't take. They merely forwarded my concern along to a manager. If I hear back (unlikely) I'll post the result here.

alert mods

I received mine this AM. It took about 3 months to get. The title of the email will look like this... Tiger gift Card with American Express sign up offer ... so keep a eye out.
Thank OP
