Same here. Got mine this morning. The title of the email was "Your TigerDirect Gift Card". It was pretty much mandatory for me to read the directions in the email on redemption, so don't feel too bad if you get lost trying to figure out how to redeem it. BTW, the giftcard does cover shipping costs too. I don't know about sales tax though. Oh, no AMEX points yet. |

Funny, coincides with my calling in just yesterday and getting a little testy with the CSR. Got forwarded to a manager, and that was that. Hope it did the trick. I'm glad to see that they came through with their promise. |

I think you need to let the card mature a bit more. If they can see that you are obviously just "flipping" credit cards for the offers there is no incentive to retain you. In fact, I think this is something the computer decides, not the CSR, so use the card randomly here and there and then call back in 4 to 6 months. Then they will offer you points every month or so when you call to cancel (in my experience). |

Still no AMEX points here. Any tips on what to do or say? I have a PDF of the offer. Could this be because I already had their card before for a different business??? |

My guess is that this deal is dead. The $100 TigerDirect gift card still seems to stand, but I don't see the 25k points from AMEX being mentioned anywhere (as of 12/30). |

Got 25K points, the most points I ever had. Still working on the card. CSR on rewards says, after talking to supervisor, that there is no partnership between them and TigerDirect. I tried to email them the link, but they do not accept emails. Of course, they started an investigation. We'll see what it does ... Any ideas/suggestions? |

Any ideas/suggestions? The $100 TigerDirect gift card is from TigerDirect, not AMEX (it's TigerDirect's promotion) |

Please let us know how it goes. I got the 5,000 points too, for my first purchase, but nothing on the 25,000 points. Well the girl said I was qualified for the 25,000, but she didn't "see the extra 20,000" so she "forwarded it to the marketing department" and they're supposed to call me back. |

The $100 TigerDirect gift card is from TigerDirect, not AMEX (it's TigerDirect's promotion) This is what I thought from the beginning. Then I called TigerDirect and CSR said they have nothing to do with it, cause it's AMEX promo. Is there a specific department or guy I need to reach at TigerDirect concerning the deal? |
