Points came through here also. Still no TD gift card. This is my second go for me. Got in on the earlier deal and received the points and gift card. Cancelled the AMEX after a month or two. I was unsure if I'd get the points on the second go around but they came. Thanks OP even if I don't get the TD card still not a bad deal for $250 in free Home Depot gift cards. |

Have sent 3 email to TD regarding gc but no response to date. Appears others have called with varied results. I have yet to place a call. Just search the thread: Call Gus Brito at 1-305-415-2313 or email him at LSaffiliates@TigerDirect.com Someone mentioned earlier that AMEX will offer bonus points upon attempt to cancel. No doubt depends on the CSR. We'll see.

The website just says, "plus earn up to 40k bonus points in your first year." Is this the language sufficient for the 25k bonus points? I'm just curious if the language has changed since everyone applied. thanks. |

My 25,000 points took 7 or 8 weeks but finally showed up. Have yet to redeem. As posted, I received an e-mail with a TD gift card number. I redeemed it at a B&M TD store near my house. I will use the card for some small purchases before I attempt to cancel, hoping for a retention offer of free points. Cheers, Vance |

I called Gus. He emailed me basically requesting the following: -Type of card received -Date Approved -First and Last Name -Mailing Address -Phone number -Email address used during application process I redeemed my points for five $50 GAP gift cards since both my wife and I like shopping there. It's better for us than $100 Traveler check or ~$200 cash from HomeDepot gift card. |

Not a smoking deal at all, barely even luke warm. |

Can someone who applied for the offer in the title of this threat pls check and see if the offer looks the same? It looks like the 25k points portion of the offer may be dead. Too bad. |

I think as long as you can see the offer on the TigerDirect website and have a screenshot, you're good to go. I did not see anywhere expiration date. Now, getting points and gift card may be a hassle like anything else on this forum. |

Now, getting points and gift card may be a hassle like anything else on this forum. Thanks for the response. Actually, that's the problem -- I don't see anything about the 25k points on the TigerDirect page. Is the current page the same as it was before? Where is everyone seeing language about the 25k? Thanks! |

Here you have to think whether you want an extra inquiry, which does not matter if you are doing AOR. |

Here you have to think whether you want an extra inquiry, which does not matter if you are doing AOR. That's fair enough. But I'm curious where anyone even came up with the idea that you get 25k miles. Did someone make this up or was there at least some indication that it might be possible at some point?

mav14 said:My guess is that this deal is dead. The $100 TigerDirect gift card still seems to stand, but I don't see the 25k points from AMEX being mentioned anywhere (as of 12/30). Like I said before, I think the deal is dead. The 25k points were mentioned before on the offer page and the app page. |

Link through TD is showing as offering 5000 bonus points for me: Bonus points: To be eligible to earn bonus points you must be enrolled in the Membership Rewards® program at the time of purchase and charge your purchases to an eligible, enrolled American Express® Card. 5,000 welcome bonus points are available for first–time Business Gold Rewards Cardmembers only. However the link through Cardselection is showing 25K points (but no longer a cash reward): Bonus points: To be eligible to earn bonus points you must be enrolled in the Membership Rewards® program at the time of purchase and charge your purchases to an eligible, enrolled American Express® Card. Apply for the Business Gold Rewards Card and make a purchase by 12/31/07. Upon the Basic Cardmember's first purchase, a one time bonus of 25,000 points can be earned toward the Basic Business Gold Rewards Cardmember's Membership Rewards® account and may appear as separate credits of 5,000 and 20,000 bonus points. The maximum 25,000 bonus points are available to first-time Basic Business Gold Rewards Cardmembers only; they are not available if you transfer an existing account. |
