I did this last time, and after one email to Gus Brito at TD, was able to get my $150 code(after ~3 months) as well as the 15,000 pts(10,000 instant, 5,000 after 1st purchase) from AMEX. I was probably one of the lucky ones.
EDIT: Old Thread - for people who dare to remember...
Worked out good for me. Got the GC + $100 account credit + $50 GC (from reward) + 5000 points for flexible payment option... This reminds me, time to cancel that card before annual fee kicks in.
This seems like a better deal this time for the following reasons: 1) Less reward from TigerDirect 2) More reward from AMEX

from the terms:
"The maximum 25,000 bonus points are available to first-time Basic Business Gold Rewards Cardmembers only"
i got in on the last deal, that means i am not qualified for the AMEX points, right?

I have a question about those 10$ linkage fees associated with these AMEX cards. Are they an optional fee or mandatory? What if I didn't want to link my AMEX cards?

This is the first business card that I have been approved for. I was turned down by Advanta last month, so I guess this one is pretty easy. The app doesn't even ask for business income or anything like that.

It's not good to close the account. Just convert it to Blue for Business or another fee free card.

Does that work? I tried to convert to a Costco card, but they said it was co-branded and a different department. I sort of froze (not wanting anything else) and the CSR started offering me lower annual fee no limit cards.

Can you redeem 25000 points as a $250 AMEX cash certificate ?(So as good as getting a $250 check) ?
BTW how come there's no mention of any terms and conditions about this offer on the application page, looks sketchy.
anyone have experience with getting this as their 2nd or 3rd business gold card?
I just closed my business gold card account last month, got that one under the $250 deal from Christmas. i'm wondering if I'll get the bonus w/this card.

No. The closest thing might me a $250 Home Depot card which can be sold on eBay for 80-90% of original value.

I think if you have enough credit card(credit limit), you should close all the the newer cards if you are not planning to uuse it anyway.

Especially since it's just a business account and doesn't affect personal credit.
In for another one, even though we did have to hassle ole Gus the last time. But I'm still waiting on the 25k points from the last offer, coming up on two months now.

I will convert the 25k points to 16 rapid reward credits. I'll get a voucher for a free R/T flight. And if you accumulate at least 100 rapid reward points within a year, you get a free companion pass...which I've had for the last few years and has saved us(wife and me) tons on travel.

Does anyone know how stingy AMEX is about giving these cards out and what bureau they do the pull on?

Are there any annual fees? Or can I just open, get my GCs and forget about the card?
minimum of $350 (possibly more if redeeming for flight vouchers) seems like a HOT deal to me.
Re: Rewards points only being available to first-time Gold cardmembers. Has anyone gotten these points on their 2nd or 3rd Gold card? Or does AMEX actually keep up?

I had to call AMEX to verify some information like my business name and business number. My business name was my actual name ("sole proprietorship") but they didn't ask about my number, unless if they can tell I called from it. They asked me if my "business" was registered with the state and said no, so they had to pull up one of my bank accounts to do some verification. It became a three-way phone call with AMEX and HSBC on the line. In the end, I finally got approved.

Like I said before, I was instantly approved for this card. They pulled Experian for me. No verification/phone calls or anything. They sent my card UPS next day air and I activated it today.
I think this is a very hot deal and don't know why more people are getting in. I guess most of you got in on the last TD deal and that is why.

Bonus points: To be eligible to earn bonus points you must be enrolled in the Membership Rewards® program at the time of purchase and charge your purchases to an eligible, enrolled American Express® Card. 5,000 welcome bonus points are available for first–time Business Gold Rewards Cardmembers only.
However the link through Cardselection is showing 25K points (but no longer a cash reward):
Bonus points: To be eligible to earn bonus points you must be enrolled in the Membership Rewards® program at the time of purchase and charge your purchases to an eligible, enrolled American Express® Card. Apply for the Business Gold Rewards Card and make a purchase by 12/31/07. Upon the Basic Cardmember's first purchase, a one time bonus of 25,000 points can be earned toward the Basic Business Gold Rewards Cardmember's Membership Rewards® account and may appear as separate credits of 5,000 and 20,000 bonus points. The maximum 25,000 bonus points are available to first-time Basic Business Gold Rewards Cardmembers only; they are not available if you transfer an existing account.
Is this card offer still valid, it says nothing that I can see about 150 gc offer is tied to using card before 12/31/07???
