I got a similar 18 month offer yesterday but it was on my Cap1/chase card. It is NOT AARP affiliated since it is to me and our AARP is in DH's name. Since I have BTs that will expire in Dec/Jan I had planned to do a new AOR Nov/Dec was was just starting to do some planning.

The easy thing about my offer is that I can write a single check to myself, hold the cash in an MMA and then pay off my other 0% BT accounts when due and do not need to apply for added cards. Further, for me this is one of my higher limit accounts so my % utilization will be low both per card and overall. Also, the FAQs state clearly that there will be NO credit report check since I have an existing relationship. The hard to swallow part is that there is a 3% UNCAPPED fee.

The offer expires 9/6/07 so I am currently "holding" and have dated it to recheck 9/1, although I will probably do it a cple days earlier if I decide to go w/ this so I KNOW it clears by 9/6.
