Yep the $150 required a $299 purchase at SonyStyle.
This looks like the same offer as the one mentioned in this thread. Only difference I can tell is that one ends 8/31, this one 11/30. I'm in for one, no instant approval for me, I'll hear in the mail...gotta love free money.
Not a bad post, get rid of the caps...

Thanks OP! The offer also includes a 12 month 0% BT with $75 max fee. Good deal, just added it to my AOR list.
Balance Transfer APR: A 0% fixed APR for the first 12 billing cycles following the opening of your account. Transaction fee: 3% of the amount of each transaction, but not less than $5.00 nor more than $75.00.

Where are you seeing the terms regarding the expiration date and $100 bonus? All I get is the appllication. Also you say that the term states for new Sony credit cardholders. I already have one Sony Card. Wonder if I still qualify. Anyone apply who currently have a Sony card?

I applied this card two weeks ago. Then last Friday I received a call from Chase. TOday I called back and they asked me to fax the GAS BILL/PHONE BILL/BANK STATEMNET.... I faxed them at noon. Let's see what happened then... I have no idea whether or not to get this card....

"Your credit card application has been received and you will be sent a response by U.S. Mail within 30 days."
Whaddyaknow... got both cards last Friday in the mail.. now to charge some free (after 100$ X 2 credit) KSC, Florida tickets for the family.. Thanks OP!
Got Sony card second time around 07/10 received $100 credir 08/28. Much faster than Am Exp rewards done at same time, still no purchase rewards much less 25k bonus points.
Usually I keep cards for 6 months then cancel, Chase keeps cards on record (see online account) for three months after cancel. You can then reapply to get new card and bonus. Works for Buy.com & Amazon.com cards also.

A 0% fixed APR for the first 12 billing cycles following the opening of your account. After that, 14.24% variablea, 18.24% variable, or 23.24% variable, depending on our review of your application and credit history. "

Bumping......
Any CURRENT customers applied for this card and received the bonus or is it just for new Sony cardholders who hasn't had the card yet???? ANYONE???????
Am I to assume that all the posters on this thread are brand new Sony cardholders?
I have been able to get the $100 Sony Card bonus thrice so far in the past. They say it is for new cardmembers but when I applied the second and third time I got my $100 all the same. The odds are good that you will get the $100 even if your current Sony Cards are still open (because mine were).

I received my $100 statement credit two days after my first purchase posted. Great card for a quick reward.
Sony is issued by Chase. There are recent threads about chase cracking down/cancelling accounts plus putting the language in to make those who use accounts for promotional purposes only not eligible. MrVietnam's experience notwithstanding, there's a good chance one may not get $100 if one or more Sony cards were issued previously to the applicant.
On the other hand, I applied for a second Sony card about a year ago and got the $150 offer then - but the policies are apparently changing.

Wow, I just cancelled my Sony card a month or so ago - got the $100 in July, but it seems like lots of you are getting a repeat bonus. I'm deciding - should I or shouldn't I? Worst that can happen is they will deny me the bonus, right?
Like I said a few posts ago, you can get this bonus over and over as long as you open a new Sony Card. You don't even have to cancel your old Sony Card(s) to get the bonus with a new Sony Card. It is a pretty easy way to get a brand new crisp $100. Actually it is given to you by a statement credit on your Sony Card but it is very easy to send them an online message and have them refund your credit balance on your account and they will send you a check for $100 about seven to ten days later. I have gotten the bonus three times already ($150, $100, and $100) and now I am trying for my fourth bonus (I just applied online this morning).

Well, I just applied, and I hope that I'm as lucky as you. I got the "we'll get back to you in 30 days" response. My previous Sony card still shows up in my online banking with Chase even though I closed it about a month ago. I hope that they don't notice.

For the BT, does Chase allow you to request a check to be deposited directly to your checking account, or do you actually have to BT to another card?

You can use the welcome check that comes with the card.

If you wait until the account is opened, there is a 90 day restriction to "direct deposit funds into a checking account." But, the way around that is as mentioned in a previous post, to use the check that comes with the card itself. Chase said to make sure that the check is made payable to a person or bank, but NOT to CASH. For some reason, it could be categorized under cash advance as per the rep.
