I got a Yellow Envelope today with words "Urgent Open Immediately" So I figure FNBO was canceling my FNBO VISA card I got back in my mini App-O-Rama from Feb but I was wrong it was a letter letting me know:

"You are a valued customer and because we appreciate the way you have managed your account, your credit limit has been increased to $35k. Your cash line has been increased to $15K. Congratulations on your recent credit line increase! You earned it!!!!"

Btw I took $12k in 0% money from them being paying $400 per month instead of $24X.XX min payment required. My card had originally only a $25k limit and $10k cash advance limit.

Btw I been paying all my credit more or less the same way which is well above the min payment by about 20-30% and this is only card that has ever increased my limit without me asking too. Normally my cards get issued with high limits to start off with but never get increased at all.

Just for reference I have close to $80k in 0% money showing on my personal credit reports.

Wow. FNBO did something cool? It appears that the difficult part with FNBO is getting the card as part of an AOR.

Do you have any deposit accounts at FNBO?

But it's still an interesting data point.

- a small AOR
- Only 50% util on the card
- larger payments

A very conservative strategy, and it appears to have paid off in this case!

For my next AOR, I'm going to apply for FNBO and Infinibank by themselves. Wait to get the card in the mail and activate it. Then do my full blown AOR. I hightly doubt the new credit lines will be reporting on my credit report yet and this is the only way I can see getting these cards as they have in the past done a second hard pull 3 days later on a different bureau (then denied for excessive inquiries, actually approved by infibank, but they closed my card before it came in mail, yes it reports "closed by issuer" on my credit report, jerks).

Only I do hate to have 4 fresh inquiries from two cards, but they would be on there otherwise. I suppose I'll only do them if I can't find enough other cards to fill by 25 card application docket

I have no deposit accounts at FNBO nor have I ever opened any. The only thing I have with FNBO is 1 card I got back in Feb before it had a statement credit of $100 after spending $500 which I spent the day I got the card and then paid off that balance 2 days later and then requested a BT for $12k was told that is max I could ask as a new FNBO customer. So I said fine. I did not plan to take only $12k and normally I draw 75% down all my credit limits on cards that I have 0% offers on.

What's Infinibank? (google knows nothing about it).

Infinibank = Infibank = Principal

LOL got my statement today and at the bottom of the statement the followiing is printed:

"You are a valued customer and because we appreciate the way you have managed your account, your credit limit has been increased to $40,000. Congratulations on your recent credit line increase! You earned it!!!!"

FNBO has now increased my limit 2x without even asking them to do so. My card went from $25k in Feb when I got it to $40k now. Btw I currently owe just under $8.5k on it from the original $12k BT I took as I am still sending in $500 per month which is well above the min payment.

I have a felling FNBO is not so bad they just do not like BT whores who only send in the min payment each month. Btw I only used the card for 1 purchase for $500 to get my $100 statement credit too. So I am sure I am not a profitable customer either.
