lhendricks92 said:any updates on the Mother of All AORs? Well, maybe a few ... No further AA after Chase and Juniper (successfully averted as above) Wife's portion of the BT pool is currently in flux, just paid off Chase personal for 70K and a bunch of others for about 50K, rolled 70 back into chase Sony and 15K into USbank both for 12 months. She has a citi transition coming up with 3 cards totalling 70K. Citi has been nastly lately, and I'm wondering what the best way to do that is. Ideally I'd like to do just one app, a biz card, and consolidate the CLs. From what I've read lately here at FWF, that may be easier said than done. Wife applied for and was denied a BoA NEA card, so I called and added myself as a joint cardholer. One EX inq and a 10K reduction in my big personal CL later, and still no decision from BoA. Wasn't really thinking it through when I agreed, but it may work out anyway. My six month BTs came and went, missed one by a couple of days and paid $14 in interest. No more 6month BTs for me unless the CL is big, say over 50K. Which reminds me, AMEX screwed up my CLs -- in my favor -- and now I've got over 200K total with them. I can get 99K onto any one card easily, but over 100K is a callin. I'm not gonna risk it. I've got somewhere around 450K due in september/october and I'm trying to figure out a transition strategy. I've got some BT $$ resting comfortably in some high interest places that would be a pain in the a$$ to get out, pay banks, and then put back in. I've got a HELOC for about 250K that I can use to move the money around, but paying all 450 off at once would cause problems and/or headaches. I'm thinking -- pay off the little, personal BTs and pay down BoA and Juniper (they add up to almost 200K) to 30 or 50%, wait for CRAs to update then apply for citi and AMEX, reallocate and use those to pay off the rest of BoA and Juniper, apply for new cards with both of them and reallocate and use that to pay biz cards and reapply for biz. This is not really AOR since I'm spreading apps out, so some discretion in the number of apps may be necessary. |

Edit: Maybe dispute personal BTs immediately. |

Just finished cleaning up the $350K BTs from last year's wife-o-rama, now its time for round 2. I want to get at least $250K going for another year, biz credit as much as possible. Chase and Citi are the big players here, with $140K and $90K respectively across several cards. Ideally I could get a biz card for each and move all the credit lines there. Chase will be relatively easy, I think, but Citi may take half a dozen calls. BoA has always been unwilling to grant much credit, but I'm willing to try. There is 22K of biz credit available and I just got 0% checks until next march, but uncapped. I called to see if I can get a capped fee deal -- no go. I'll try again, and f not I'll apply for a new biz card and consolidate. I cancelled advanta 2 months ago, new card no problem, unknown credit line. Cancelled card had 23K Juniper has about 17K on one card, maybe I can get a little more on a new card and consolidate to 25K hopefully. National city personal has about 7K on last year's card, but I hear they don't let you have 2 cards. Nat city biz has about 25K even though it's only 6 months, I'll see if I can have 2 cards. Wachovia now has biz and personal deals. Biz on the phone, personal in branch. Discover has about 10K in personal cards, I guess I should try to get another and consolidate, but this might just be chump change. I will try commerce bank and see if they'll let me have 2 cards. AMEX is dead, but I'll do a Hilton Honors 50K points deal. USBank also a maybe -- only 15K but it's 12 months. RBS only has 6K, not too worthwhile, but I'll try. Juniper biz and Discover biz have Bts that don't run out for 6 months, so I'm not messing with those. I had been intermittently hitting CS to bump TU, took about 60-70 before they came off. I was using Trucredit also, but once I went to daily pulls, they suspended the account. Oh well. inq 3/21/0 TU EX EQ 7/17 749 718 745 7/18 749 718 759 7/19 761 718 745 down to only EX inqs 7/20 TrueCredit died Creditsecure shows all balances paid off Citi biz deferred Link citi personal deferred chase biz deferred Link boa plat mc approved 8,000 Link advanta approved Cardselection link juniper deferred Link wachovia deferred phone discover approved 5,000 usbank deferred Any of them work, I did Baylor nat city quilters deferred Link WAMU ESPN approved 5,000 Link umb deferred Link elan woodforest biz deferred Link rbs deferred Link cap one biz approved 0% purchase only Cardselection $60 commerce deferred Link boa biz deferred nat citz biz deferred AMEX hilton approved 1,000. Link to FW post easy enough to consolidate for the 5K purchase needed. As a data point, I asked for $25,000 BT with each application. Did not seem to help. Inq's starting to show up. Everyone hit EX as usual for me. Oddly, cap one hit only EX and BoA and Chase hit both Ex and EQ. No TU hits at all yet. I just hope I can avoid any AA like what mikeR397 just got |

Pretty good results so far, all in all. Citi biz deferred -- approved $20K TU citi personal deferred -- approved $7.5K TU chase biz deferred denied -- too many recent inqs EX and EQ boa plat mc approved $8K TU advanta approved awaiting CL EX juniper deferred still no decision pulled all 3 wachovia deferred denied EQ length of time accounts established discover approved $5K took $5K from another card and closed it EX and TU usbank deferred approved $15K EX nat city quilters deferred TU the next day WAMU ESPN approved $5K EX umb deferred can't tell what if anything they pulled yet elan woodforest biz deferred -- approved $15K rbs deferred -- approved $6K EX and TU cap one biz approved awaiting CL EX TU but no EQ commerce deferred TU the next day boa biz deferred nat citz biz deferred TU 2 days later AMEX hilton approved $1k EX I was able to consolidate the Citi cards lying around in the drawer to the new card for a new credit line of $103,600. I'm going to try to consolidate USbank and RBS. This is the first time there have been any EQ pulls for me or the wife. |

Juniper denied just now by email. But the odd thing is that they called first, wife wasn't home, they wouldn't leave a message. I wonder what that was about. I had checked the online status less than an hour before the call -- still pending. The email came about 20 minutes later. |

So, did discover close your old card without asking you? How many cards did you have already? Are you in UMB's lending area? It's limited. The WAMU app was non-targeted, right? |

The WAMU app was non-targeted, right? Yes. But it was unused except for the just-paid-off BT. One personal, one biz. Yes. Yes. |

Partial further results from WOR 2.1 Advanta came through with the oh-so-useless $2.5K limit. The last card had $23K, cancelled 2 months ago to make room for this one. National city also lowballed with $2K, there's a $7.5K around to consolidate, but now that it's only 6 months ... Crap One gave a pathetic $5K, but only pulled 2 CRAs USBank gave a relatively large $15K line, especially with an already existing card with $15K also. I hope they didn't just close that one without asking. I'm gonna call to consolidate and find out. Citi is sending a check for $99K because the little box on her screen only holds that many digits. What I've learned so far: 1. RBS and Nat. City will grant 2nd cards, haven't tried to reallocate yet. 2. Citi Biz CSRs seem to be able to reallocate easily and there is no $100K limit. Except for transfers. 3. Answer the phone if Barclays calls 4. There is a back door way to increase AMEX CL 5. You can never tell what banks will hit which CRAs, but EX gets hammered. 6. Advanta is getting very stingy |

jackcrawfish said:lhendricks92 said:any updates on the Mother of All AORs?Are you planning another round? Round 2 (or 3 depending on how you look at it) will not be an AOR, but just a couple of cards to roll the old CLs into. BoA Chase Biz Citi biz Juniper/Barclay's Assuming no new credit, just reallocation, I can get $470K in CL, most of that in BT at 99% for biz. I might add 2nd tier cards USBank Discover Wachovia but all 3 would only add up to $50K (reallocation, no new credit) if I was lucky. As I said earlier, there are some cash flow issues, and using my 4% HELOC I was able to roll WOR into $330K without dipping into allocated funds. Things are little tighter this time due to big lines, so I've paid off all personal lines, disputed all 3 CRAs and as soon as they all clear, I'll go for BoA. A little new credit and I'll be near Scott1961's massive CL. Probably also put Juniper app in then too. Pay Chase biz with that and apply for new 15mo chase biz. Use that to pay everyone else. The trick is to make sure BoA BT doesn't report. Gotta time it to the billing cycle. Then Citi biz, then mini-AOR if I do it at all. I've got 80% of my BTs in 4-5 banks each for me and the wife. $5K BTs are more annoying than anything else. $30K is the lowest it makes sense to go for. I guess I'll never get to $2MM after all. Even $1MM is unlikely now that AM3X is out of the 0% game. But I can do over $750K just with the big 4 or 5. |

All lines reported paid in full yesterday, applied for BOA Plat MC and BOA AMEX both deferred. Juniper Ifly was deferred, then a credit ninja called about 4 hours later (I was out) with a number to call back, they close before 5pm EST, so no go yesterday. Got an email saying my status was ready, checked online, got "Currently we are unable to offer you a Juniper Credit Card" due to: Sufficient credit is available on your account issued by Barclays Bank Delaware I called this morning, the ninja closed the old card "I see there hasn't been much activity anyway." I guess the 38K of BT that just paid off didn't flag her system as anything special. She moved all 43K CL to the new card. I was hoping for a little new CL, but this will do. So my max with Juniper is apparently $43,100. FAKOs EX 737 EQ 787 TU 784 with 17 EX inqs 11 months old. |

I got tired of waiting, so I called BOA, 800-932-2775, got through to a credit ninja and quickly had all $171K moved to a new Plat MC, no fee 12month BT. Got it sent right to checking before the card even gets mailed out to me. The ninja appologized that she could not get any new credit line without a referral to "the large loan department" requiring lots of documentation. Looks like I've maxed out at most banks now. If I were them, I wouldn't give me any more either. So long as I can roll it around, the current CLs will do nicely. |
