If anyone is concerned about mailing this out try calling your airport mailing location be it USPS, FedEx etc...often times they are open til the wee hours at night. Our USPS office at the airport used to accept overnight and priority mail until 11pm or so for delivery next day. |

There's no sense in trying to keep it alive as it was a limited time offer anyway.

For those of us pursuing careers in academia and/or higher degrees I wonder what the ramifications would be of having a trail of flunked courses at community colleges all across the nation. |

You have everything that we need. Please overnight that information and make sure this is done today because due to the overwhelming response to this CD today is the closing date but, they have said they will accept applications that are post marked with today’s date. "
You are still golden if you can submit today! I just got this email at 11:51 CST. I'm sending mine in as I type DHL overniht, got a few prepaid overnight DHL envelopes from Costco for $10/ea...I know irrelevant just wanted throw it in because it makes me feel like a true FWer Thanks, CMMD! I decided I could spare a little more money that I originally wanted to remain liquid, and will send in the apps to open another couple of CDs today. |

Thanks to "teammjs" on page 9 of this thread, explains how to enroll in continuing education class if your address is not in state. My daughter and son-in-law are in Maryland and my husband and I will be visiting them. This class is on a Saturday--should be fun! I am going to enroll my 10 year old granddaughter also---- Great way to spend a couple of hours with grandma! newbietx said:Are you in Maryland, will you be attending classes for this dance course? i'm in! well, sort of. sent membership and CD apps, proof of UofM almuni association, copies of IDs, and $310K of checks for me and mrs. me. sent by FedEx priority last night ($9 with USAA discount), arrived this morning at 8:30 AM eastern. called a few minutes ago to get our membership IDs. logged into account online, and saw this: Wife: Checking, Savings, and $110K CD (plus $2750 bonus). yes! Me: Checking, Savings, but NO $200K CD. uh oh. phone rep said i should be OK, and that they probably haven't finished processing my CD yet. still, it's a bit unnerving to have an unaccounted for $200K and its accompanying $5K bonus. |

****** Thank you very much OP ****** I'm in. I drove to Rockville, MD branch this morning. There were just a couple of asian faces holding the GivingThanks app form on hand. A teller/CSR, Paola Torres - 301-947-1459 was very nice. On my mem app, i filled out a name of my old friend who graduated from UM a long time ago, before 1990. They did not even ask about that person. It took a CSR about 30min for creating my new membership and opening a CD, plus 15min chating about family and kids. I was out of their office around 12:30pm |

FYI the link to the page for the $75 bonus for having 9 or more products/services has disappeared today. Perhaps too many people opening up 8 CDs with their Share Savings account in order to qualify for the additional $75 bonus? CSR I spoke with on Saturday told me 8 CDs and your savings account will qualify you for the $75 bonus. I guess we will see what happens after November 30th. Technologist said:They have posted ALL the deals... including the relationship bonus I mentioned.

If you add products or services to make the minimum of 9 products and services before Nov. 30, 2007, you will then be qualified to have your share savings account credited with a $75 bonus dividend.*
