Hmm, they don't give much info over there.

Can the sony purchase be made anywhere, like BB to get the 50k points?

The way I understand it, you get 50k points when you get the card.

It says the points are good towards a select Sony HDTV but I wonder if the reward points are good for the other Sony products.

edit: Because it seems like you're getting regular Sony points.

nm

The eligible tvs for the promo are 40" or larger and cheapest ones are 2k or so on sony style...

What I interpret is the 50k points that can be used for anything on SonyStyle and the tv's listed in the promo get 0% purchase interest for 1 year....

what else is worth buying at SonyStyle? can these pt.s be used to buy laptops?

It says HDTVs only, and there is a link that tells you which models are eligible.

Any of the wide selection of laptops under the select HD TVs category.

Can I purchase the Sony TV from the list and from other online store and still get the credit?

Sucks that there's tax in California, that basically kills the deal over going to Amazon. Free shipping is going to end soon too. The only reason I'd do this deal is mainly for the 0% financing.

Got my card yesterday. Have not had a chance to activate and check on the points.

Where does it say you must buy from Sony Style? Sony Style is a rip-off as it sells just about everything at MSRP.

It would be hot if you can apply the point to Amazon purchase. A 46W3000 goes for $2451 and you earn triple point for buying Sony product so $73.50 off. Less $500, you get the 46W3000 for just $1877. Plus potential price drops on Amazon.

got my card and activated, but did not show points and the girl i talked to saw nothing about points. guess one of those things you have to prove to get whats due.

*update* talked to someone else, mentioned the promotion and you have to buy first then you get the points off. i do not believe these are good for laptops too.

bummer
