I love these miles. I got the card about a year ago and have accrued 30,000+ miles. With it, I am now booked on a flight in December to Cancun, Mexico for two weeks, then a flight to Acapulco for another week and a half, and then back to NY for about 30,000 in miles plus $80 in airport taxes, etc. Can't beat that. |

I signed up for this under the link provided. Both cards (business and personal) posted annual fees. I, of course, got them reversed. Dont know if the offer is coded wrong or if it was isolated event. Just thought I would pass it on. |

If you were to convert another citi card to this one, would you be eligible for the 25,000 bonus miles? |

I'm trying to apply but after filling out the info, I get an error message. I've tried this on several days. Anyone have a phone number to apply over the phone for this offer? |

DiMAn0684 said:anyone knows if Citi limits bonus to first time AAdvanage card holders? I got on the similar deal last year and got 25K miles, wondering if I can do it again... As far as I know, you CAN get multiple bonuses with Citi AA miles. Check flyertalk for confirmation. |

Well I guess it did go through (but two times). I got an email with the approval for two separate dates. I guess I'll have to cancel one card when I get it. buyonsale3 said:I'm trying to apply but after filling out the info, I get an error message. I've tried this on several days. I applied for this card and was accepted. Much to my surprise, when the first statement arrived, it showed a $75 annual fee. I called customer service, which initially insisted I had to pay that fee. After I pushed back with 1) offering a screenshot of the web page promising waiver of the fee for the first year, plus 2) the fact that Citi's web site still has the fee-waiver option with all other terms also still identical, I was transfered to a supervisor who promptly removed the bogus charge. A mistake? An intentional "error" to get an extra $75 from those not paying attention. I'm not sure. |

I just rechecked the website and it does now show a $75 fee for the business version of this card. It did not show that when I applied 2 weeks ago, so not able to get a screen shot if I run into this problem. The others do clearly show 0 fee for the first year however. |

From the Offer Page: "3 As of September 21, 2007, standard variable APR for purchases-17.74%; standard variable APR for cash advances-22.74%. However, if you default under any Card Agreement, Citi® may automatically increase the rate on balances (including promotional balances) to a variable default rate of 31.74%. The annual fee for the Citi® Platinum Select® / AAdvantage® World MasterCard®, the Citi Select(SM) / AAdvantage® American Express® card and the CitiBusiness® / AAdvantage® MasterCard® is $0 for the first twelve months and $85, $85 and $75, respectively, thereafter. Minimum finance charge-$.50. Foreign purchase transaction fee-3% of purchase amount after its conversion into U.S. dollars. Cash advance fee-3% of cash advance amount, $5 minimum. Balance transfer fee for the Citi® Platinum Select® / AAdvantage® World MasterCard® and the Citi Select(SM) / AAdvantage® American Express® card-3% of balance transfer amount, minimum $5. Balance transfer fee for the CitiBusiness® / AAdvantage® MasterCard®-3% of balance transfer amount; minimum $5, maximum $50." Even though if you click through all three, the business one does state annual fee but who clicks through to the "terms and conditions" besides us FWers. Anyways, I do think as long as it states NO ANNUAL FEE on the Offer Page plus the fine print then Citi should honor it. The pain is calling them and the hassle they put us through. Citi is always a hassle across all their lines of business. Don't take NO for an answer, be persistent and firm, I know I will be. |

Ronbo, I just went to www.away6.citicards.com -- the address in the original post. Plain as can be, that page still says "No annual fee for the first 12 months." That prominent text appears at the top-left, plainly applicable to all three of the cards that follow. Are you looking at some other site? If that's the page where you began your signup, you could make a screenshot of that page now. |

I clicked through to the Business card from that site and in the terms and conditions like alanmax quoted, it says there is a $75 fee. But your right it does say that on the main page and I took a screen shot, so hopefully that will be all I need. Thanks |

I'm trying to click through the OP link and sign up. I had no trouble last night at home. Today at work I can't click through. It seems to be something with this stupid Kasperian antivirus on our PCs. I've recently had trouble clicking through for FatCash. However, I even copied the shortcut, and removed the bounce from fatwallet portion of the link, and I see it showing that its going to the away6.citicards.com site, and then it jumps to the bridge whatever name, and stops rather than bouncing on through. I tried this in both IE and foxfire mozzilla, and I get the same result. Anyone have an idea how I can friggin get to the offer page to sign up? |

I got the business card today and it does say that there is a $75 fee, but when we called in, the CSR said there is no fee for the first year. So very confusing but it should be no problem, but I will find out on first statement. Thanks |

Do you have to have a real business to apply for the business card? I know for AMEX it doesn't matter, but have no idea about citi. Thanks! |
