If I have two businesses, say A Corp and B LLC, can I get two cards one for each business and get 25000x2 miles? |

How can you achieve this by 30,000+ miles? My understanding is you need 50000 miles. Unless it was a multi-city itinerary. Please enlighten me. reuv said:I love these miles.
I got the card about a year ago and have accrued 30,000+ miles. With it, I am now booked on a flight in December to Cancun, Mexico for two weeks, then a flight to Acapulco for another week and a half, and then back to NY for about 30,000 in miles plus $80 in airport taxes, etc. Can't beat that. |

Indeed. I shall try it out myself and report back with findings! I tried but no dice. I wanted to convert an old diamonds rewards prefered card to an AA card, but was told that I would have to pay the $75 annual fee. I said "no thanks". In case it matters, an Indian call center rep handled my call. If anyone else wants to try it, have at it. |

pras Thanks for the update, looking forward to hearing of your results. I'm planning to apply for this card (currently have about 15K AA miles due to expire EOY). Does it really matter whether I apply for the MC, Visa, or AMEX version just for the miles? I do plan to cancel within the first year since most of my FF miles are with United's Mileage Plus program. |

Anybody notice the "You are invited to apply for a Citi AAdvantage AMEX with no annual fee! Apply today at www.miles11.citicards.com to learn more" in the welcome package. Citi wants you to churn? |

Please keep up posted on your attempt. That's very valuable. Thanks. I got my e-statement for the AMEX version of Aadvantage card and it shows 25,000 bonus miles! My account on aa.com does not reflect the bonus points or the card activity points yet. Hopefully in a couple of days it should. Update: The bonus miles for the AMEX version of Aadvantage card showed up on aa.com. Thanks OP for 50,000 miles pras |

Hi, my application for the Citi/AAdavantage credit card has been approved and I also received the American Airlines Companion Certificate as the bonus of the card. Could anyone tell me if this certificate is transferable? The instruction says "reservations made with this discount must be purchased with your Citi/AAdavantage card" so I wonder if that means this certificate can only be used by me with MY credit card. Thanks |

You'll find that the certificate is good for times when the cheapest fare is pretty high. For example, flying to NYC for 1/1, or Phoenix during Superbowl week, or maybe travel around Independence Day. The reason is that it can't be used on certain super-saver fare codes. I was able to save $300+ with one of these, but other people find them useless. The certificate can only be used by you because you must be one of the passengers. Although it seems like you must use your AA Citi Mastercard, I've read before that someone was able to pay with a different card. |

Hi Everyone, Could someone please help me out? I just applied the Citi master credit card by the link this forum provided. On my application and under the terms and condition, the annual fee showed "$0.00 for 12 months, $85.00 thereafter." However, after submitting my application, the confirming page showed me under the annual fee part "$85." Does it mean that I have to pay for my first year? Or, is it just a sign for after an year later? Also, did you receive any email from Citi and show that you have submitted your application? I didn't receive any confirmed email, so I am kind of worry whether Citi did receive it or not. Hopefully, any one of nice of you here can respond my concerns and help me out Super Thanks in advance!! |
