OP updated with application links. Some cards do not come with BT promo and I want them either for signup bonus or for normal spending (Citi Platinum AMEX, AMEX SimplyCash Biz).

I know, I've listed too many apps for some issuers. I am also preparing my wife's CRs for AOR. Please suggest best order/strategy and which cards to eliminate as well as corrected or improved offer links. Thanks in advance!

Juniper/Harvard Alumni (need link) ...
Where did you get the idea about this card? I got a targeted offer for a Juniper/EvenBetterSchool card some long time ago and it does not list any URL, just the phone number (for instant decision): 877.805.8694. The offer mentions 0% APR BT & CA for 15+ months, but the 3% BT fee is uncapped. The only good thing about this card is the CL "as high as $100K" ... so (given your scores and HHI) applying for Nat-l Parks and this card (with the idea of CLR to Nat-l Parks) may be a very interesting idea. The other piece of info (also good and bad at the same time) is that Juniper pulled TU & EQ when I applied for one of their cards (that's the part you are potentially going to like), but they did so a few days AFTER denying me (that's the bad part).

So, if you were to pursue this, I'd apply for the Juniper pair of cards first then wait for decision and only then continue with the rest of the AOR. Also, Juniper does not make the impression of being too friendly to multiple card application at the same time.

Lastly, if you don't mind sharing, what state are you in?

I just applied for Chase United Biz card to see how they deal with EXP freeze. I should have picked a different app, as this one does not say it is instant... should get something in the mail in the next 30 days.

Then I applied for Citi Biz. Deferred (same "30 days"), but it let me create online ID and choose due date (first or second half of month). I called to check status and CSR said it will take 7-10 days and they will use EQ, which is great! I am in NJ.

Approved for Citi Biz. Don't know the CL yet.

I called both Citi Biz and Chase Biz to check status.
Got 15K from Citi and 13K from Chase. Chase pulled TU!

Getting ready...

Consolidated some BofA and Citi cards into older cards (got some nice BT offers from BofA in the process, but have not accepted).

Got 0% APR on purchases until August on Citi Professional (existing account).

I wonder which issuers from my list like to see large BT requests on the application, as I'd rather request BT after reallocations with most. Also, I still haven't decided how much personal credit to re-allocate to Citi Biz and Chase Biz, as there is no way to move it back to personal later. My wife and I each have a Citi card to "kill" (via consolidation into a new personal card with promo BT APR, as reallocations are problematic).

I have not paid one of the "float" cards in full and will have additional 10K show on my report and 12K on my wife's tomorrow, as my balances may be dangerously low for A0R (at least the change will freak out Juniper - guaranteed).

My wife's reports need another week or so of b*. I should be getting a D-U-N-S number some time this month but probably will not wait for it. Once I get it, though, I will apply for some gas cards, since I will have to b* the inquiries anyway and my EX is still frozen. Last step will be to send the auth code to the issuers insisting on seeing EX if I decide they are worth it. I will probably just remove the freeze temporarily and also sign up for CreditSecure during that time.

I received the Chase United Airlines Platinum Business Visa and activated it. Then called CSR and asked for higher CL, was transferred to Biz Lending Ops. Credit analyst discussed my credit report very openly. She saw 19K on my Sony card at 0% and wondered if my balance on Discover card also has promo APR and whether I will pay it in full when the promo period ends (I did not tell her it was "for life"). She offered 25K then and suggested I call back when I pay off the Sony card for increase or reallocation. She told me that they can reallocate between business cards or from personal to business OR FROM BUSINESS TO PERSONAL! (for personal-to-personal you need to call a different department).

Apparently they use EQ for Biz apps in my area...

The *** FCU, on the other hand, normally pulls EXP. They called me yesterday and asked for the PIN. I said I did not have it with me and asked to pull TU or EQ. They said my app is good for 30 days, but they'll check if they can use another CRA and call me back. They have not called yesterday or today.

I just applied for Discover Biz and requested 35K BT. Got the 30 day response. Either they do not process these applications instantly (or perhaps due to a large BT request) or they've attempted to pull EXP and failed.

Then I applied for Chase Biz and got the same 30 day response instantly. There was no option to request BT with the application.

IT WORKED!!!

I called Discover to check the status of my application and got transferred to credit analyst, who told me that for apps in my area they pull EXP and mine is frozen. I said, yeah, I wanted to try it out, and it's such a hassle to unfreeze and costs money and I do not have my access code with me... So she pulled EQ and gave me 7.5K CL! Then I reallocated 14K from personal. I asked about BT (as I requested 35K on the application), but she said she could not see it. Perhaps it got deleted automatically because the CL was lower?

I was also approved for Chase Biz Rebate - 10K. They pulled EQ this time.

The *** FCU pulled TU as well!

What I am finding is that issuers hate the consumer CRA freeze and sympathize with you when you tell them how you wanted to "try it out" for identity theft prevention, but it turned out to be such a hassle.

Bulk of my App-O-Rama is done.

BankAtlantic Biz - deferred
FNBO Biz - deferred
Citi Biz PP - deferred
GEMB (personal) - deferred
BofA US Airways (personal) - declined (tried to pull EXP)
WAMU (personal) - declined
WAMU Biz - declined
Juniper/Lufthansa (personal) - deferred
National City (personal) - deferred
Principal Bank (personal) - deferred
RBS (personal) - deferred
Juniper/National Parks - declined

It seems that all apps either require manual processing (perhaps due to large BT requests) or try to pull EXP (certainly BofA, which offered me a secured card - credit analysts are off today, as I found out when I called). I will update CRA info as I discover it. Juniper, however, accepted my first two apps (one personal, one biz) and auto-declined the third.

I have not applied for any more Citi or Chase cards because I'd like to do some CL reallocations and request BT first. I am also not certain what number of cards I can get from each issuer within a short time period.

WAMU Biz link is working despite my concerns - you just need to close and re-open your browser between apps (but they declined me).
