The most telling SSN activity threshold is 6 or more applications within 90 days. As many as 75% of accounts that hit this threshold are likely to become bankrupt or charged off.

That's us, baby! I feel kind of proud.

I've never sent proof and I have total CL with Discover of $27K across 2 cards. Granted, not much over $25K, but over nonetheless.

OTOH, I was never able to get the Discover dining rebate card that was available a few years back. Denials said something about having reached a limit on total cards issued with Discover. Didn't make sense, seeing as some folks here have around 4 Discover cards of various types, IIRC.

Am I correct that you're still waiting to hear from Chase, Citibank, and HSBC on several apps?

Eugene, what balances (showing or otherwise) did you have on your billpay cards when you applied for more BofA credit?

You may want to withdraw everything from Bank of America before they accuse you of fraud and sieze your money...

are you going to do personal AOR now

Wow, BoA continues to screw customers.... why am I not surprised?

Did you try to send copy of your current EX in mail or fax while on freeze?

One cracksmoking thing about Chase.com is that business cards cannot exist on a login created for individual users.

However, a login created for business cards can host personal cards too.

I called them up, had them delete my user, then recreated it as a business id, then added all my cards again.

But I was still stuck with cardmemberservices for a third party (lasalle bank) card.

Chase on crack, OH YA.

I CLR 2 personal cards to a denied personal application, I got 2 biz cards and 1 prof. in the last 45 days.

41,000 new credit, I only had 40,000 on personal before that and the last 15,000 of the 40,000 I had to send in bank statements. So it was nice to get the new 41,000 on the biz cards.

I applied for 1 biz and 1 personal Discover cards, and have total CL of 30K (25K Personal, 5K biz), though I had to fax some documents ...
How easy is reallocation of CL with Discover b/t biz and personal, and subsequent reverse reallocation?
