As a kid, I didn't get as much finance advice that would benefit me in the future. Most of the things I financial knowledge I learned was self-taught and learned hard on. For example, if I got my driver license when I was 16, verse 23, I would save more on my auto insurance. I am pretty sure that there are more fiancial knowledge that can benefit me now. Like choosing the right 401K plan that is right for me and etc...

Hence, why don't we share our financial wisdom and help the common fool for a better financial future!

Please post any financial advice that can benefit any age genre.

-- to start my Roth IRA as soon as I had an income. It's a great retirement investment when you are young and are in the lowest tax bracket

Don't sign anything until you fully understand what is going to happen to you in the best case, the expected case, and the worst case.

Don't ever have a business partner. Eventually the business will cease to exist and this will lead to severely strained relationship(s) between the other partner(s).

I wish I had followed that advice.

My wife is my business partner. Are you foreshadowing my divorce?

Roth is good advice, but "the lowest tax bracket" has nothing to do with it.

The decision to use Roth or Traditional IRA has a lot to do with the value of any tax deduction you can get for a Traditional IRA contribution.

Master the English language; then learn how to speak and relate to people from all backgrounds and educational levels. Summary: constantly develop interpersonal and communication skills. MBA graduates always comment on how classes oriented around these subjects best prepared them for business success; much more so than specialty classes.

20 years from now: more condoms and kidney dialysis machines.

You need a business mind, not just business talk.

I said severely strained relationship, not necessarily divorce. Although I do know a couple who were in business together and when their business went bankrupt they got divorced about a year afterwards. They both admit that the failed business was a major contributor...
