-Money posted in Fidelity this morning, I bought FSLXX. -Still no word on accepted application to OneUnited. -Trouble in paradise? Added and paid my Bank Atlantic minimum payment from FNBO ~10 days ago. Logged on yesterday (my due date, after 5pm, argh) after a ski trip weekend and saw no payment posted and a $39 late payment fee. Immediately sent another payment using FNBO again, and there is still no pending payment showing up on their site. I sent a secure message first explaining the situation. We'll see if they can take care of it that way first before I make a slightly more agitate phone call. |

Been a while since an update: -BankAtlantic didn't know why my first payment didn't go through. Second one didn't because since it was considered late (by 3 hours), internet service and payments are locked...even though I was able to log on and submit a payment. Hmm. They processed my new payment by phone, refunded late payment fee and assured me BT was still at 0%. Statement had a $1 or so of interest, but when I called in after the fee refund, they said they saw no interest on the account. We shall see... -I need some help being talked out of firing off apps for a couple of the new hot 0-fee BT offers from Associated (Citi) and Zions Banks. Only worried that they pull EX. Personal CR exposure with Citi might not be horrible, as I haven't hit CLI buttons since AOR. Also local gas station is offering really good gas card with total of $30 for sign-up, ~6% Cash Back on purchases at their station as well as (until June) $10 gas cards after every 6 8-gallon fill-ups. -Fidelity MMA is just under 4% now, but OneUnited (have yet to get completely set up to transfer funds, but close) recently lowered to 5.15%, so they look like a front-runner for my $$. |

Your scores are still pretty impaired, I don't think you'd get much from any new apps. I know the feeling though, I was eyeing the Citibank cash returns card. The 5% CashBack would be nice when I have to pay my (pretty large) tax bill. |

A couple updates, but mostly coasting. - All funds transfered to OneUnited, currently down from 4.6% to 4.0%. This is still one of the best savings rates, and I haven't had any complaints thus far. It takes a day longer in transfers than I'm used to. I'm attempting the $50 bonus using Paypal DD, as well. - PM123 scores have been stable until the last week, when EX rose 662->668 and EQ dropped 680->674. I haven't been able to figure out what triggered it, other than maybe passing some utilization threshold. Still haven't bumped EQ inq from December, but should be close. - BankAtlantic card is still showing 0% for my BT, so no worries. - Chase Business Checking bonus ($250) posted, no inquiry. Recently applied and was accepted for BOA Business Checking ($100 bonus) no inq. |

-PM123 scores are creeping back up (706, 688, 699; TU, EX, EQ), with ~$30,900 showing on personal lines. -10 inq's remain on EX and 1 on EQ. EQ must have cleared inq's earlier this year as some have suggested, as I have bumped almost religiously and have not removed the 1 inq from December. -My money remains at OneUnited with 4.00% APY. I'm glad they don't watch the news. |

Two of my EQ inquiries also appear to be hanging around too long. |

-First instance of A/A. Received a letter from Advanta yesterday that they were lowering my CL from 10k to 8.4k (BT is about 8.1k right now) effective immediately. What's weird is the reason they site for it: "Length of time with opened account." I seriously think they throw darts to pick a reason sometimes. -Bill Pay Choice on my Fido 529 has been working beautifully. I wish I had larger than a 6k CL, as I often have to pay it off a few days before my cycle ends. CLI's have been denied both times, albeit after my AOR was completed. -Citi sent me a letter about customizing my Diamond Preferred card because they wanted it to be my "main card for use," and offered Cash Back, TY points or lower APR. At first I thought it was my old Diamond, but when I talked to him I suddenly realized it was my 0%-for-life that still has a 12.5k BT. He could only offer me 2.9% APR on purchases. Seems Citi is trying playing the trickery game as well, lol. What a wash. |

"Length of time with opened account." What on earth does *that* mean? Please tell me that either (a) it's too early in the AM, and I'm not awake yet, or (b) that's something poorly translated from another language. |

Your guess is as good as mine. I'm guessing that they're trying to say it's because my activity (BT balance, no purchases) in addition to the fact that the card is newer. As an aside, they do have an entire list of probably 100 different codes on the back of the letter with every excuse for denying or reducing credit. There a few that sounds exactly the same, and many more gems like above. |

I think they purposefully pick reasons that you can't help, or do anything to dispute. Some of them are very random. I've got $300k of credit card debt showing and you are reducing my limit b/c my card has not been opened up long enough??? Next time I'll try harder for an older new card. |

-Well, it seems I'm no longer flying under the radar. I received a letter on Monday saying that they were reducing my CL on my Premier Cash Rebate card to within $1000 of my BT(currently $39,200k). They cited 2 reasons pertaining to a high balance(I forget exact wording). This is reduced from a CL of $43k. If memory serves me right from other AOR's, I can expect them to reduce this CL every month when I make a payment. Some reported closures after the BT is paid off, but I hope that doesn't become the case. I reduced all my other Chase cards to $500 or 1k to make this reallocation happen. "Such is life...with Chase" seems to be an appropriate slogan around FWF. |

You made it pretty far until chase zapped you. Glad they didn't close any small-balance cards. They don't do this every month. But they may chop again in a few months. |

-Got a letter from RBS regarding my Platinum card. They noticed that I hadn't used their card in several months (or ever, lol), and that think it "is in our mutual interest to close the account." They said it would protect me from "future fraudulent transactions or identity theft." What sucks is they closed it when they sent the letter. Only a $4k personal CL, but shouldn't I be able to help decide what is in my mutual interest? -FAKO scores have fluctuated a bit, but I'm above 700's with all of them. There were a few days that showed them as high as 720's, but fell again a couple days after. I'm guessing this was from choppage (I'll never be able to bump only pulling daily with PM123), but I haven't been tracking my pulls as closely as the choppage thread. -No further CL cuts from Advanta or Chase. |

As I posted in the "TU Bumpage is Dead" thread, I went for 0 TU Inq's to 18 last Wednesday, as I have only been bumping daily with PM123. TU score went from 723 -> 678, rest are still over 700. ~10 will be gone by November, as most are from my first AOR. The only reason I'm a bit worried is for banks that do their occaisonal credit reviews via TU. The only two I'm aware of thus far is Juniper and Citi, but Citi has been pulling EX for new accounts now, so who knows. I just signed up for Credit Karma, and will probably now bite the bullet and sign up for AMEX Credit Secure. I know the verdict is still out on whether CK will still bump, but it seems that CS is still working. |

Sometimes they are amenable in time frames under six months (?) from the decision date. |

RBS wasn't able to do anything useful with the closed card when they closed my old one due to inactivity. Would be intersesting if you got further. |

I'll try it when I get home tonight. I probably won't put too much of a fight for a paltry $4k anyway. |
