-My Chase reallocation went through! $43,000 available on Business Rebate. I will be sending the check out to SBoT shortly. I'll probably stay with them for a month or so since they initially waive the required purchases. -Still searching for balance refund option on phone system, but it might not be an option for all cards/accounts. -Looks like I might be starting a FR with AMEX. Just got letter yesterday saying there is "a very important matter to discuss." Two letters, one for each of my business cards, and they aren't "suspended" as others have seen. They currently only have $1000 CL's, as I reallocated everything to my IN:Chicago card (but haven't taken a BT yet). Called and my account manager won't be in for another 5 hours. Honestly, I'm inclined to close the Blue Cash Business right away, I don't need it anymore. The Bus Gold Rewards was just for the 25k points and TD.com bonus, and I might just tell her if it's going to be an issue, I'll just go ahead an close it, too. |

yep, that's how my amazingly soft F/R started. They just confirmed some data, asked me to confirm my income over the phone, and then sent me on my merry way. Others have had worse experiences, of course. |

-I've left 2 messages with "Ms. Williams" about my F/R, and haven't had a call returned. My cards aren't suspended, but I'm thinking about calling to complain about their CSRs never returning calls. They take customer service pretty seriously, so they might just go ahead and dismiss my case. I tried to call and cancel my old Blue Cash for business, but it kept transferring me to F/R dept. and asking for my extension. Thoughts? -I got my $9k Citi BT check yesterday, and I expect my $3k one today. I'll be sending those (hopefully tomorrow) in with a $42k check from Chase Business Rebate to SBoT. Now to figure out how to get money out of AMEX and Bank Atlantic. Anyone experience on BT'ing to check card with Juniper? I'm going to check the "summary" thread. |

Regarding Bank Atlantic, I tried getting a BT credited to my CU checking account via my Visa debit card. The CSR said they would mail a check instead of transferring it electronically. Big mistake. Request put in on 11/5, the account charged on 11/6, and nobody knows where the check is. Hasn't been received by my credit union, and BA doesn't have any tracking number or way to find out if the delivery made it. They haven't confirmed whether the check has been cashed, either. I called my CU, and the only deposit for the whole institution matching the BT amount occured 3-4 days before my BT request. Otherwise, they haven't seen it. I've put in 2 requests to research the issue (once last week and once 2 days ago), but haven't seen nor heard anything from them. Meanwhile, I had to make a payment greater than my non-BT balance last weekend in order to avoid a late. In short, its been a clusterf**k, and its primarily my fault! So be sure to specify a card or other account that will actually receive the check or can be electronically submitted to. I'm sure MikeR397's thread has some tips that I obviously overlooked.... Might be time for Planet Feedback just to light a fire and get the issue resolved so I can try the BT again.... |

With Barclay/BankAtlantic/Juniper I recommend just biting the bullet and BT'ing to another card. Either a citibank card you can get a credit balance refund on, or a card you can do no-fee deposits into a bank account from. |

-Ms. Williams from AMEX finally got back to me this morning, and was very apologetic about some "system issues." She just confirmed my employment information, address, length of employment, phone, email, etc. Phew, that wasn't anything to worry about. Guess that's over for now. -Sent $12k in checks from CitiBiz PP and $42,500k from Chase Biz cards to SBoT. -Will probably BT $9.5k from Bank Atlantic to Citi Diamond tonight. -Haven't been shutdown from TrueCredit yet (using NC and PM123), and I've already bumped down to only 5 TU inqs. -Negative balance on BofA Iowa still, statement just closed and I haven't been contacted yet. Still can't transfer online, and can't get refund phone prompt (probably due to large amount) - guess I'm going to have to call. |

-Somewhere between reallocating $3k of National Parks to Bank Atlantic($7,000) and being told I was denied for a CLI by Bank Atlantic on 11/19, my CL ended up being $15k. Who knows. BT'd $14.5k to check card, against the advice above. Feel free to let the "I told you so's" flow if this goes bad. It was indicated to me that the balance would be transfered electronically, and I plan to watch the progress like a hawk. I also was unsure as to how Citi would treat a $14.5k negative balance on a $4k card. If it does go sour, at least it will be another data point. -Very disheartened to see SBoT changing to 5.01% APY. As soon as I receive my debit card from them for online access (hopefully showing my 12k from Citi and 42k from Chase), I will probably transfer the funds out to FNBO. I thought it was too good to be true. -BT'd $9k from Discover Biz Miles to Chase Check card. I forgot to make small purchases for the two Miles cards in November, so I guess I lost 2,000 miles. No biggie. I'm sure 24,000 miles will still net me something nice. |

-Tried to clear up utilization numbers, which hadn't been updated in QS for a while (thanks Economist). If there is anything else that is unclear in my post or QS, let me know. -I'm convinced that NC and PM123 are only bumping one inq at a time now, whereas it was doing double damage for sure at first. I haven't been blocked either. Interesting. |

I'm sure on my Equifax that pm123 doesn't bump extra when used with TU or chase. But on TU they all count as a soft. Why wouldn't you just make your small purchases now!!!!! so what if you pay 50% interest on 2.00????? |

Why not E*TRADE? Same 5.05% APY, but: 1) faster transfers 2) larger number of accounts to link with |

I made small donations to my favorite blog for Discover cards, Chase Sony and Citi PP. Bought some Starbucks with AMEX Biz Gold. E-trade sounds a bit better, I'll think about opening one. At one time, I had 8-9 savings accounts, so I've been trying to cut back. Down to just Fido MMA, FNBO, E-LOAN, Chase and Lasalle (for bonus). |

Regarding where to stash AOR cash, I just bought a 6 month and 3 month CD at Countrywide. They raised their rates to 5.5% today, while everyone else is dropping. I'm also keeping some more "liquid" at Etrade and Fidelity, just in case. So my average yield is almost 5.4%. https://bank.countrywide.com/CWBRates.aspx I've enjoyed your thread! Now back to lurk mode .... |

I'm glad you had a namby-pamby F/R. Also, Countrywide could be a good choice, but I recommend staying under FDIC insurance limits. |

Ok, ok. You guys sold me on Countrywide. I'll probably open Savingslink(5.3%, $10k min) and a 6m 5.5% CD once I do some math to figure out how much I can lock away. A few things have to happen before then, though: my oustanding BT's (Citi, Chase, Bank Atlantic) have to post to accounts. I also need my SBoT debit card to get online access so I can finish linking to FNBO to withdraw the funds. I'm impatient sometimes, and timing on getting this money out is driving me nuts. Well, it'll only make me stronger, right Edit: Oh, and Bank Atlantic immediately recognized the Check Card as a no-go. They declined the BT that afternoon, after which I submitted another (same amount) to Citi Diamond Preferred (non-0%-for-life). |

Regarding Bank Atlantic, you're fortunate..... I'm still in limbo. I've had to go the Bank Customer Service route as well as the Project Feedback route. No resolution yet, and its been 42 days thus far... Unlike Citi, which, from what I understand, doesn't charge a BT to your account until the its cashed/clears, Bank Atlantic charged my card right off the bat, and won't release it, and customer service won't do anything about it except submit research requests that never get researched.... |

-$9.5k BT from Discover Biz to Chase Checking posted 12/17, showed up online today. -$14.5k BT from Bank Atlantic to Citi Diamond still "Pending." -TU inq's all bumped today. Hopefully I can get to EQ before PM123 and/or NC shuts me down. -Got 15,000 TYP on 1st statement from CitiBiz PP, and will hit $300 purchases on Citi Plat AMEX this month for another 15k. I've been clearing out my TYP in student loan rebates and depositing them as quickly as possible in case Citi tries anything adverse. I've been cleaning up with my 5 TYP/$ Diam. Pref. since September, netting ~$475. They probably can't wait till it expires 1/15. |

Just spoke with a nice BofA CSR about refunding my $6,300 negative balance on Iowa card. It didn't seem like a big deal at all to her, and she said she could either send me a check, or could transfer to another BofA card. I asked about transfer to checking, but she said it would be considered a BT and would be subject to BT fee, rates, etc. I don't think that's correct since it's a negative balance, but I didn't want to press the issue and get a manager involved. I was just happy to be presented with the option of a check. Now I just hope I evade adverse reaction from the people actually writing the check... |

Did you ask if you could BT the neg balance and the credit line? that way you could just pay what ever the capped fee was. I did call BofA biz last night and since I have a -11.00 balance it asked me again if I was calling about the neg balance. |
