It currently only has a CL of $500. I don't have a capped BT-fee offer available either. I've tried the phone system, too, for the last week. It was never presented as an option, so there must be a max value. My statement closed a few days ago, so I figured I'd bite the bullet and speak to someone. |

-Too many updates today, I know, but I was excited that when I got home today I received a deposit receipt from SBoT for $54,500 (42.5k BT from Chase and 12k from Citi)! They put a 10-day hold because my account is new. -Requested CLI (no-pull) on Fidelity 2% from 6k -> 11k. If approved, I could probably have a little more billpay action to work with, possibly to get some of the AMEX BT out. Oh, and it would be cool to hit 200k in CL's. Once my Bank Atlantic BT posts, I'll be working with ~$120k in BT money, or $140k with AMEX. The reallocations worked wonderfully towards keeping my personal utilization low (~30%). This is higher than my expectations were, but I'm not working at 6.01% APY, either. |

djspray said:Just spoke with a nice BofA CSR about refunding my $6,300 negative balance on Iowa card. It didn't seem like a big deal at all to her, and she said she could either send me a check, or could transfer to another BofA card FWIW, I transfered to a new (capped) 0% card and then did a subsequent BT to checking from there. Or, for those who stick with 49%, it might be worthwhile to BT more at first, then use this trick to get down to 49%. Note for those following along: in the past, BoA has given people a hard time about credit balances, so be cautious. |

-Was able to transfer out $9.4k Discover Biz BT from Chase Checking to FNBO yesterday after it was "pending" a few days. -$14.5k BT from BankAtlantic to Citi Diamond showed up today, and was able to credit balance refund $13.6k via the web in the form of a check. I wish it wasn't my daily spender right now, but I paid it down as much as I could before the BT hit. -For some reason, the last TU inq (or any of the EQ inq's) will not bump, even thought I have continued pulling throughout Christmas. Argh. -I've been out of town since Saturday, and I'm sure the online verification for SBoT got delivered on Sat, lol. I tried to place a hold on my mail yesterday so it wouldn't be overflowing, and there was already one in place. I figured that would only take a couple days. |

Sorry for lack of updates recently. Holidays and the stomach flu lowered my motivation for a while. -Credit balance refund from Citi took over a week to verify via their secure messaging before they sent the check, I think on the 2nd. -BofA balance refund check of $6,300 showed up last Thursday, will deposit into Chase Checking, then pull to FNBO. -FINALLY received SBoT debit card in mail last Wed., but haven't got around to setting up online access yet. My 5.01% rate is still good for 2 weeks or so, but I'll transfer my funds out soon. -I might be taking a slight hit in profits, as I used some of the BT funds to purchase a car (2005 Chrysler 300) last week. Still not sure that I'm keeping it though, as I got it $4k+ below book value, and wouldn't blink at a quick profit like that. -TU completely bumped, EQ down to 3 inq's and gone by Wednesday. All BT's are reporting on personal CR, and scores are 706/662/667 (Tu/Ex/Eq). |

-Got my check from Cardselection.com yesterday for all $190. Cash money, baby. -Got my refund check from Citi today for $13,4xx, will mail to FNBO. I would probably cash it at Chase then transfer, but I'm planning to close that checking account to create a fresh one for my yearly $150 new Chase Checking bonus. -TU and EQ are completely bumped now. |

Note that FNBO might put your check deposit on hold forever (two weeks or more), so hopefully you won't need some of that money turned around quickly. |

-As of yesterday, the last amount of my BT funds (the Citi refund check) finally found it's way into my high-yield accounts. Currently, I'm at 30.5% utilization on personal lines with $32,170 in BT's and ~$4k in billpay on $105,400 available. On business lines, I'm at 94.5% with $86,460 in BT's on $91,500 available. No adverse action yet (knocking on wood desk). -Only one inq on EQ, from car dealership pulling credit so they could hold a check for 6 days on the car I bought. Evidently they weren't worried about the $30k+ debt, lol. Updated scores as well in OP. -I missed the fact that the 0% BT for AMEX IN:Chi had be made within first 90 days, so I'm abandoning that. It's probably better that way since it keeps my utilization lower, and I'm already taking them for quite a bit in bonuses. EDIT: Oh, and I never did get that CLI on my FIA Fidelity 2% card. Argh, and I really wanted to crack that $200k barrier, lol. |

Yes they hold mine for 1 week. They just held it from available funds? As far as I can tell, it was deposited and posted the same day they received it for me. EDIT: Yeah, it's deposited and earning interest, but not available. |

-Canceled NC Identity Protect, never received the $25 Staples GC they promised me for keeping it active another month, oh well. Just checking daily with PM123 now. Not really sure that matters anymore, as bumpage seems to be working less and less for people lately. -Transferred last of funds from SBoT to FNBO. Now I need to figure out a new HYS, as it is rumored that FNBO will be dropping soon, as many others have already done. I don't trust that FABaT will hang on forever, and even CDs are tough to find a decent 5+% rate now. On the hunt... -Opened a new Chase Checking accout with $125 bonus +$25 referral last Thursday. Hope that doesn't push me over the edge with Chase's good graces, lol. |

Regarding a home for the money, I'll again promote a brokerage account at Fidelity as a great hub for BT funds. The signup bonuses are nice, deposits and transfers aren't a problem. Money market funds are very boring, but you know you'll be getting the "market rate" on short term funds, unlike banks, where you have to worry about rate-chasing. I've done some rate chasing myself with this AOR (FNBO, SECU) but the money keeps returning to Fidelity (before ultimately returning to the lenders, lol). Gave up on Countrywide? ... also, nine weeks from AOR start until you got that money from Citibank? That's quite a while. My bungled BT only took about 7 weeks until I got the last check from them. |

Yeah, I actually already have $1 sitting in FCASH with Fidelity right now, but if I change that to one of the FSLXX funds, I could probably get 4.5%+. Sounds like a good idea once the bottom falls out of FNBO. Yeah, kinda wishing I secured those 5.5% CDs at Countrywide now, lol. Oh, and I didn't make the BT to that Citicard for the credit refund until 12/12 (5th week), so it was my lagging butt, not Citi's. I wasn't on my A-game early on, and didn't know exactly where I was going to send all my funds. |

Rate chasing today: -First transfer ($100k) from FNBO of funds to Fidelity MMA, will invest in FSLXX once it posts. Currently 4.64% or so. -Opened OneUnited savings account (5.30% APY) with $1k (minimum) transfer from FNBO. Who knows how long the rate will last. I'll give them a shot until it dies. $50 bonus with 3 months DD (maybe Paypal?), too. |

If the OneUnited account can be considered a "checking" account for ACH purposes, you can push into it from Fidelity. Otherwise, you'll need to use some other source to fake a DD, since Fidelity Moneline only supports "checking" transactions. |

Well, one actually can link SAVINGS account via Fidelity moneyline (I have FNBO and ETRADE linked). The thing is it's a much more painful and time-consuming process of mailing them a form, and then calling to follow up (to explain that "No, I could not attach a voided check, b/c the account I'm asking you to link is an online savings account"). |
