I received a letter from Citi Professional about a 0% purchase APR for existing members until August 1, 2008. It does not appear to be targeted because my girlfriend and I both received the same offer. You should need to call the customer service number on the back of your card and they will activate the offer. No code or anything required.

gezzz, I feel slighted. My offer was for 2.99% (PIF my BT on the card about 5 weeks ago. Card had been unused since)

3% processing fee.....

no its 0% on PURCHASES. So no 3% fee. I got the same offer. One card I had to call to activate, the other was already activated.

Where's my offer? I got nothing from Citi for either of my cards.

Got the same offer for Citi Simplicity card.

You did "Manage my account" and then "Special offers"?

Nothing there for me except for something about redeeming thank you points for cash.

I have a 2.99% offer on purchases through 8/08. Not really useful. I want FREE money

I got the same letter for my professional card. No number to call and activate the card. The 0% APR on all purchases is automatic.

have 2.99% offer for purchases until 4/1/2008 online. Haven't gotten the zero percent one. The card is actively used.

2.99% through July 2008. Thanks OP

Got 0% purchases until 8/1/08. Card is inactive and only used for past AOR BT.

OT: but interesting 0% APR on Cash advance experience:
Citi seems to have offers their CSRs cannot see ... Back in July I got a (targeted?) one by mail for a 0% APR for cash advance at any ATM or bank till Nov on citi dividend with no fee of any kind for a card I heavily used for routine non-revolving purchases.

On calling to confirm, none of the several CSRs could see it on my account, denying that such offer could exist. I had to call several times as ATM did not dspense more than $200 at a time and apparently that caused some alarms to go off at citi HQ. Finally a supervisor could verify that offer on my account after some deep diving of sorts but refused to provide me details on how that was seen by him or that why others could not see that earlier or what others would have to do to view that being on my account, brushing off as 'it is not obvious but I could get to it indirectly' -- whatever that BS means....

Of course I used the free money to the max limit after immediately paying off the account balance and it later showed up as Offer 6 on the statement. Sweet free loan but every CSR I talked to in the process was flabbergasted that such offer existed for CASH Advance rather than purchase or BT, or were sent out and some asked me to fax them the offer letter as a proof. I did have to call in again as the tiny $200 ATM portion did not get into the offer terms and they had to manually waive the fees

Anyone have such weird experience / benefit ?
