My Discover Biz shows 12 months BT promo even though I used the 18 months link. I have to fax the app to them. Also, they told me income verification is required for aggregate CL of 25K+ (which includes personal and biz, even if EIN is different from your SS#). |

The terms and conditions in your link seem to indicate only a six month 0% offer. onedollarinmywallet said:Glitch99 said:The BofA no-fee platinum link is not valid anymore. The $30-cap NEA card, and random $75-cap cards are still available from BofA.
Close the Advanta card since you say it is useless, and you wont do any worse with a new app w/promo.
I think the BOA offer is still valid.
I was wondering about the no-fee 0% 12 months BT on the BOA Platinum (planning a mini-AOR myself) so I did an "online chat" with a BOA rep to see if it's still valid.
Here's the transcript of the conversation.
you: Hi.. I'm planning to apply for the Visa Platinum card at this link (https://offers.bankofamerica.com/ConsumerCard/OTS5Offer.aspx) .. and wanted to confirm that the 0% 12 months balance transfer with no fees offer is still valid? you: Some reps have said that there is a fee ($75 capped) and some said there is no fee, so I'm a little confused. Christina: It should be listed under the terms and conditions tab on your link you: It states, "None for each such cash advance (minimum $0)." I assume that applies to balance transfers AND check cash advances? Christina: Great! That means there are no fees for balance transfers you: Ok, thanks! Have a good day. Christina: You are very welcome.
Also, the information about the card at this page here also indicates that there is no fee for balance transfers, so this would confirm what the rep. said.

Juniper and National city take thier sweet time before pulling credit report. In my case, most of my other pulls were already reported when they pulled it. No wonder my application was rejected for having too many recent inquiries |

I re-checked the links and it seems for the Bank of America Platinum Plus VISA or MasterCard, there are two different offers: one for 6 months, another for 12 months. 12 months 0% no-fee BT offer https://offers.bankofamerica.com/ConsumerCard/OTS5Offer.aspx the link opens up a PDF from https://staging-disclosures.bankofamerica.com/cpcms/static/pdf/IAT-WB-8-0107.pdf 6 months 0% no-fee BT offer http://www.bankofamerica.com/creditcards/index.cfm?context_id=marketing_detail&offer_id=ECOMM0908API00400800122011EN000&left_hig=all_cards Both are the same cards with no-fee BT offers. |

Both are the same cards with no-fee BT offers. When you try to apply to the 12 month offer above you get an error. I expect that offer is dead. I think 12 months with a $30 cap is better than 6 months no fee. Going to do check TrueCredit tommorow morning and see if the chase card has reported $0 balance yet. I guess its time to figure out the order in which I'm going to apply for cards. |

If Chase has NOT reported $0 balance yet, do you plan to dispute with CRA to get them to show $0 before Chase reports? |

Thanks for the verification. I'm surprised that BOA didn't remove the page from their site. I just tried it myself and sure enough, it redirects to this site: https://offers.bankofamerica.com/ConsumerCard/MNCError.aspx DUH! |

No, the chase statment closed on the 18th, it usually takes a few days to show up at the CRA's after the statement closing. I checked true credit yesterday (should have waited until this morning) so I need to wait 24 hours. |

I checked true credit yesterday (should have waited until this morning) so I need to wait 24 hours. Yes, I know it takes several days (and then Experian gets updated first and others get updated a little later) ... however, for example, in case of AMEX "several days" is more like a month ... I wouldn't put off my AOR by a month just b/c of that. I would call CRA and dispute the balance 1-2 days after the statement closes, b/c, technically speaking, if the balance on you card at this very moment is $0 and CRA shows $10K their info is incorrect. It's true that they make take their time correcting this (30 days or whatever the legal timeframe is), but in my experience they adjust such things on the spot. |

Chase account hasn't updated to the CRA yet, maybe tommrow. Got a Capital One, No Hassle Miles Visa Platinum offer in the mail. 0% APR on purchases (BT APR same as purchases) util Aug. '08. No BT fee. No anuual fee. Credit line between $500-$20K. Worth a shot? I'd really hate to burn 3 inquires for a $1000 credit line. |

Worth a shot? I'd really hate to burn 3 inquires for a $1000 credit line. I wish we could figure out CrapOne's CL algorithm. The wife picked up a 1K line in her last A0R. She didn't even bother to activate it. As a data point, she requested a 20K BT, but she didn't have a targeted offer. Maybe the latter helps. My theory is this: tiny limit (less than 1K), left-over cards from BofA and Juniper put her in CapOne's subprime bucket, despite having several 30K+ CL lines with a variety of issuers. I wouldn't be surprised if these low limit lines cause harm in some lenders' proprietary models, even though they don't affect FICO. |

I don't think you need a targeted offer to get in good with CapOne (though I bet it helps), but I do think scores and inquiries (and perhaps number of new accounts) make a big difference. |

TrueCredit shows Chase Sony account at $0 on EX, but TU and EQ haven't updated yet. Stupid EX score didn't change at all. I know its a FAKO score, but really. |

Thoughts on reallocation or Biz applications? Don't worry that Chase hasn't pulled credit yet, my AOR was 11/9 and they still had it as "pending" when I called last Friday. They are taking their merry time. Most of my Biz apps were deferred as well, so I wouldn't worry yet, just call in a couple days to check status. Good luck! |

Wait, only 9 apps? Are you sure this really counts as an AOR? You'll definitely want to reallocate with BofA and AMX. I recommend holding off on Citibank or Juniper Reallocatoin until you find out if you get the business cards, then you can stuff credit over to there. And you do realize that a F/R with AMX is inevitable, right? |

Mini-AOR is just too oxymoronic. Anyone want to coin a better term?

And you do realize that a F/R with AMX is inevitable, right? Not much to reallocate with Citi since I still have almost $17K at 0% for life and their personal cards at 0% are hard to reallocate. Nothing to reallocate on Juniper unless/until the Juniper Biz card gets approved. Plenty to reallocate with BoA, AMX and Chase if the Chase biz card comes thru else I'll have to do a Chase personal card. AMX bring it on, I haven't fibbed. They'll look pretty dumb taking back CL right after granting it. |
