To the person who questioned why all the new members complaining: I just googled imaglobus and came up with this site and had to add that I too, was fraudulently charged by this company. Same deal: $9.87 charge on my card. Called CC company, they gave me the # to imaglobus, got the recorded message, emailed them, got the same message back from them that every one else got, got the charges reversed, canceled my CC, asked imaglobus for more info about who used my card, never heard back form them. SOMETHING has to be done. This pisses me off. I use my CC for everything (Cash Back)so I can't be of any help in deciphering where they got my CC # from, but I'm not going to let this rest. CC company suggested I contact the BBB and IF imaglobus is a member....yeah, right! Does anyone know how we can get started busting these jerks? |

Lynne4t, I joined this forum for the same reason. I was burned by templateglobus.com, googled them and came up with this place. I'm sure it's the same people. As I posted in another thread, I filed a complaint with the FBI using the IC3 website. I suspect this is bigger than we know. |

I'll definitely go to FBI IC3 and report and I encourage others to as well. Let's not let them get away with it. How about Texas AG office? Someone has to do something. |

Hello All: I am a new member to fatwallet. I basically joined so we can all team together and shut this company down and get them thrown in jail if that is where the facts lead. I think it is important for everyone to do these two things (other than all the things you need to do to protect your credit report and credit cards etc see the Federal Trade Commission site for that): File an official complaint with the Federal Trade Commission about this company. This is important to set up a paper trail against the company which, as others have posted is operating three websites: www.templateglobus.com, http://www.imaglobus.com/, and http://www.pictureglobus.com/. They all use the same contact number 210-807-427 and point of contact Eric Robertson. You can file your complaint here: http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/microsites/idtheft/consumers/filing-a-report.html Company Name: TemPlate Globus Address unknown League City, TX 77573 County: Galveston Phone Number: 210-807-4272 Web Site Address: www.templateglobus.com 2. File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of Houston here: http://www.bbbhou.org/complaints2.html I am doing a bit more research to figure out where we can all file an official complaint with the local police and state's attorney. I will report back when I find that. Thanks |

I just filled out the form at FTC, (did FBI IC3 yesterday) but at FTC I got an error message saying some string was too short. I'm assuming it was the dollar amount, $10.00. Let me know what else you find out. What about Dateline or something like that? |

I also got the $9.87 charge on my BofA Visa from this company. I called the bank to dispute it and they said it's a recurring charge so they put me through to the company to talk to them. Got the message to use the support form on the website so I did and they say they're refunding my money. Weird stuff. I also have a pending charge from "The Creative Alternative" which I don't recognize either. Google searching hasn't turned up anything about it. |

I am the one whose ATM rejected their card- when I went into the bank, they told me that there was another charge going through, for $3 and some cents, and it was by some other bizarre (and totally unknown to me) site. For some reason, that one had sent up a red flag, though the earlier one hadn't. I also filed with IC3, did a report at the Rip-off Report, and am filing fraud papers with my bank, and took a long time explaining the whole thing. Don't know if it will make any difference at all, but we have to try something. This is so ridiculous. I guess I will be getting one of those pre-filled credit cards to use online. |

I was googling about this, and I too had a charge on my debit card for $9.87 from pictureglobus.com. I reported it to the bank, and they are crediting me that charge and will issue me a new debit card. How are they getting people's credit/debit card information? By the way, it was on my Visa debit card. |

I realize this is after the fact, but this may help avoid some future scam. Many banks (citibank, hsbc, discover and AMEX (real AMEX, not AMEX through citi)) offer virtual account numbers. With hsbc and citi (not sure about AMEX), you can set the dollar amount and expiration date for the card #. After the card # has been used, it can no longer be charged or authorized by a different merchant, or even the same merchant if there's not enough credit remaining. Yes it's a hassle to generate a new number for each online purchase, but in doing so, you ensure that any of your cc #'s in circulation are useless should they become compromised. Good luck! |

That's really good to know. It would surely be a hassle at Christmastime, though. Is it something you have to call the credit card company about or can you do it online? Also, I wonder if I'd still get my Cash Back rewards. I just used my replacement card for a couple of online purchases and I'm just waiting to get burned again. I wish I had known about the temporary numbers! |

Lyne, It takes less than 30 seconds to generate a #. You either log into your account via the website or download a small applet that runs on your computer at all times. FatCash and other rewards still work. The temp #'s are linked to your account, so whatever bonuses the account gets, you'd still get using this service. |

See Templateglobus.com also. These are all the same people. Plus Pictureglobus.com and Hermeselectro.com. Probably more. Report your concerns to the Federal Trade Commission, they are very interested. |

I signed up for a new account just so I can tell everyone that I was also charged $9.87 on my Debit MasterCard account. Why would I waste my time searching for TemplateGlobus.com? Because I want these criminals put in jail. I know that these criminals are charging *many* people $9.87 on stolen credit card numbers. If you think that stealing $9.87 from me and thousands of other people is okay, give me YOUR account number and let me charge the amount against YOU. These criminals need to go to jail. I wasted my day researching this unknown charge on my account, visiting my bank and cancelling my credit cards. Now, I will have to use cash only until the replacement credit card arrives in 10 days. WHAT A F*** HASSLE! And now that I have googled TemplateGlobus.com, I find out that they are screwing *a lot* of people. I signed up on this website so I can tell you that it is true that the credit card numbers have been stolen. Cancel your cards and get new ones to protect yourself and then file a claim report to get your money back. I am sitting on hold right now with my bank (Washington Mutual) to file the claim. WHAT A F**** HASSLE! |
