recently i noticed the option to transfer my Worldpoints on Bank of America's Online Banking website.
there is a spot where it asks you to enter your account number to check if it is eligible for points transfer.

i was wondering which Worldpoints cards are "eligible". has anyone transferred any Worldpoints to/from any cards?

i guess the cards i'm interested/familiar with are:

Bank Of America Mastercard World Worldpoints
Bank Of America Visa Signature Worldpoints
Bankamericard Visa (can you even get this in Signature level or any different levels?)
Fidelity Investments Visa Rewards

i'm mostly just curious.
the 2.25% idea would require me getting two Visa cards and i tend to like having just one of each kind of card.
but i put that in the title so more people might look at my question.

anyway, i was thinking it might work like this:
-you can earn 1.5 points per dollar with the Bankamericard
-and you can redeem $0.015 per point with the Fidelity Investments Visa Rewards card
-so earn points on the Bankamericard, transfer to Fidelity card, then redeem

think that might work?

I have a few Worldpoints accounts and since they all have like 1000 points in each I thought I would try it. I was told I could transfer between my Amsouth cards, which receives 1% back and the Fidelity which receives 1.5%. I haven't tried 1% to 1%.

I don't think you could turn it into 2.25% in any case though.

Well sort of. Fidelity card was an MBNA card which BoA aquired. Now the Fidelity card and many others are managed by FIA, which is BoA with a differnet name. You can reallcoate credit limits between BoA and FIA cards but only if you call FIA. I don't think BoA CRS's can see the FIA cards.

FIA Card Services says Worldpoints can not be transfered from my Fidelity Platinum Plus Visa, to my Fidelity Signature Visa.

I have a worldpoints MC and Visa. They would not let me transfer points between them.

Fidelity signature card 1.5% Cash Back much better than BankAmericard 1.5% points, right?
Because I can not transfer pointw with them, maybe I should combine them.
And Fidelity card can pay bill.
