Looks like a nice selection HS, I remember your first AOR. I figured you'd go for more than 20+ apps though? I posted this question in the n00b thread, maybe someone can help? I'm preparing to do my second AOR in the next few months and had a question about annual fee cards. Should I just 'close' and consolidate those cards into existing issuer lines (ex., Citi PremierPass -> CitiBusiness)? In addition, is there a rule of thumb to go by on how many lines to have with one issuer? I have 4 personal and 2 business with Citi and I'll probably apply for 2-3 of each on the next go around so I don't know if it's prudent to cancel in advance of their decision (assuming they don't allow more than X amount of lines). Thanks! |

Princiap, First Nat, and UBOC are all FNBO cards. No way you're getting all three. You might not even get one. I already have a Chase Sony card. Isn't Principal from Infibank? I will pick only one of the two FNBO cards, thanks for the suggestion. |

There are not many cards with 0% offers around, so I decided to keep it tight this time. With the economy cooling down there is a good chance interest rates will fall and we may see better offers next year. Unless you see a reason to pay the annual fees and keep the card around. MosDeft said: In addition, is there a rule of thumb to go by on how many lines to have with one issuer? I don't think so. One of my friends has around 8 citi personal cards. |

Isn't it a bad time for an AOR? The Fed has already cut interest rates twice, and it looks like they'll cut them again in a few days. The OP will probably get only 4.5% interest on the money, instead of 5.5% or even 6% before the rate cuts started. |

Anyways it doesn't really affect me that much since it is free money anyways |

It's a shame that interest rates are going down tho. We are all missing out on AOR money. A 6% rate brings in more free money than 4.5% or 4.25%! |

You can get another Chase Sony card. Principal is run by Infibank, which is owned by FNBO. |

Principal is run by Infibank, which is owned by FNBO. I got rid of other 2 FNBO apps I had planned, so I will try for Principal. I think I have already hit my max exposure with Chase but trying for another Sony card won't harm I guess. Thanks for your suggestions. |

Has someone recently applied for Key Bank credit card? It is issued by Citibank and I was wondering if the CL granted depends on the total exposure with other Citi cards I have. |

I am looking for another 3-4 personal cards to apply for. Does anyone have any good suggestions? Did anyone recently apply for Suntrust Platinum or State Farm visa card that I have linked in backup apps section? How was your experience? Thanks in advance. |
