Am I allowed to apply for another and/or can I apply for the Citi Professional with Thank You Points instead? If I can, those terms look great as a replacement for the Citi Driver's Edge card. edit: Change Made Given the comment made by Exige below I swapped the Citi Professional for Driver's Edge |

*if* you can find a Chase Sony offer, I would replace the generic Chase platinum card with it. Same 0% BT deal, but also a statement credit. Also, I didn't notice that you were just AU on the existing CitiPro card, so applying for it is definitely a good move, just for the points grab. Finally, I just want to mention that if you get approved for a lot of these cards and successfully max them out, your credit score could CRASH, just because your current file is fairly "thin". Again, there's not necessarily anything wrong with this, as long as you really don't need your credit for a while, and don't mind taking lumps from various lenders. |

markkundinger said:I can't determine the expiration date on this Sony deal? http://sonycard.sony.com/sonygateway/Gateway.aspx?offerLink=SonyRewardsBtS2007 Ok, so on that link above it actually just expired on 11/30/07 when you scroll over the 1 in the top left of the page and the other Sony Card link that DJspray provided doesn't appear to have a 0% BT offer and the $100 statement credit seems to require a purchase at a SonyStyle store or SonyStyle.com for over $299 which is not going to happen for me. That's a good idea, so I'll keep looking for another Chase Sony offer or another Chase card altogether. edit: Changes to OP: -I decided to scrap the Chase Platinum MC and replaced it with the Chase Platinum Visa Business Card as it include $5 more from CS and is a business card and not a personal card which should help me out once BTs get made -I also added the BoA Platinum Plus card after discovering it is indeed 0% for 12 months and $0 fees |

The chase visa business platinum - I just got an offer in the mail for it the other day. It said up to 15 months at 0%. Might want to call and ask about that. |

Good work indeed, green for you for laying out your plan in detail, including links, and soliciting advice. I'll be following this one closely... Planning my 2nd AOR for this Jan/Feb (first AOR was done on Jan 10-11, 2007). My 2nd AOR will be more of a Business AOR with the intent of taking advantage of BT offers while keeping the BT balances off my personal credit report. My 1st AOR was mainly to maximize bonuses, to increase total CL available (both personal and biz) and to get some cards that I've always wanted to have. |

I'd get discover miles instead of discover more If you don't mind making small purchases every month for 12 month you'll get 12000 points which is equivalent to $100 gc or $100 statement credit if you make travel purchase with disover card. |

jevon, have you not gotten a Chase Professional (not CITI Professional) mailing recently? The card offers 0% BT for 12 months with the fee capped at $99. There is also an online app here (open to everybody, but 0% BT is only for 6 months (though the fee is capped at $75) ... I guess this card is more suitable for folks with large existing lines with Chase (ripe for reallocation). |

The current Discover Business Card that you have linked contains in the terms and conditions that BT are at 0% until April 1, 2009, which is less than 18 months... |

Update 2, -Bumped another TU inq, and PM123 score is now 732. Nice! -I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on Thurs. or Friday with these 15 or so apps and just see how it goes. -I'll look into the chase visa business platinum 15 month 0% APR that silam mentions and also the discover miles instead of discover more that fotomaniak mentions -no site of that Chase Pro offer cyberkost, I may look into that later on -also not sure what's up with the Discover Biz not being a full 18 months |

Update: I changed a couple of the cards and applied for all 17 of them this morning with 7 Instant approvals and no Instant Denials, woot! So far the 3 CL's I know total $21,300. Right now my brain is a little mushy from 3 hours of app reading and applying so I'll give more updates and clarify the OP. |

Good for you! Keep us updated. Should be able to clear 100k in new credit, the way you're going, if not 150k. jevon90 said:Update: I changed a couple of the cards and applied for all 17 of them this morning with 7 Instant approvals and no Instant Denials, woot! ANybody wonder how much longer the banks will continue to try to do UNCAPPED fees? My feeling is they are just testing the waters because soon, nobody will be doing BT's if they have to pay these excessive fees. |
